The Ghana Armed Forces has announced the commencement of training preparations for the first batch of two thousand recruits selected under its ongoing nationwide recruitment exercise.

Selected applicants have been directed to report to their respective regional selection centres across all sixteen regions of the country on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 0900 hours.

Decentralised Recruitment Expands Access
The Ghana Armed Forces emphasized that this year’s recruitment exercise was conducted at the regional level in line with a broader government directive aimed at bringing opportunities closer to citizens.

The statement also addressed applicants who were unable to complete the recruitment process due to medical concerns. Individuals identified with treatable medical conditions during the screening stage have been encouraged to seek appropriate medical care.
