Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale will stage ShattaFest Accra 2026 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, 17 October. The event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. and run late into the night, with an all-white dress code for attendees.
Promotional materials released this week confirm that P Mobile and HOTWAV are presenting the concert. Fans can obtain tickets by gifting Shatta Wale through the Shaxi App or via the website shaxigh.com. Organisers describe the ticket process as a direct gift to the artiste, after which entry is secured.
Sponsors listed for the event include Shaxi, WAYA and MoMo from MTN. EIB Network is named as the official media partner. The Accra edition follows a recent successful ShattaFest held in Ho in the Volta Region earlier this month, which was staged in partnership with MoMoFest.
ShattaFest has grown into one of the artiste’s flagship annual gatherings. The previous major edition in Accra drew large crowds, with fans turning out in significant numbers at Independence Square. The decision to move this year’s capital city show to the Accra Sports Stadium signals an intention to host a structured stadium production.
Shatta Wale, whose real name is Charles Nii Armah Mensah, remains one of Ghana’s most prominent dancehall performers. Over more than two decades he has built a dedicated following known as the Shatta Movement. His live shows are typically characterised by extended performances, high-energy delivery and strong audience participation.
The all-white dress code continues a tradition associated with several of his major concerts. Organisers have encouraged fans to arrive early and adhere to the stipulated attire. Doors are expected to open in the afternoon, giving attendees time to settle in before the main performance.
Ticket access through the Shaxi platform reflects the artiste’s broader business interests. Shaxi operates as a multi-service application, and linking ticket acquisition to gifting on the app integrates the concert directly with his commercial ecosystem.
Alternative purchase options through the dedicated website provide an additional channel for those who prefer not to use the mobile application.

The Accra Sports Stadium offers a controlled environment with established infrastructure for large-scale events. Stadium concerts in Ghana often require coordination with local authorities on security, traffic management and crowd control.
Details on supporting acts or the full running order have not yet been released.
Public Reaction
Social media posts from fan accounts and promoters have circulated the official artwork widely since the confirmation of the date and venue. The promotional image shows Shatta Wale holding a red electric guitar against a bold pink and white background, with clear event information displayed.
For many supporters, ShattaFest represents more than a standard concert. It functions as a gathering point for the Shatta Movement, combining music with a sense of collective identity. Previous editions have featured lengthy sets covering both older catalogue tracks and newer releases.
The timing of the Accra show, coming shortly after the Ho performance, keeps the artiste visible on the local circuit during a busy period. It also provides an opportunity for fans in the capital who may not have travelled to the Volta Region to experience the production closer to home.

As the 17 October date approaches, further announcements regarding guest performers, stage production and logistics are anticipated. In the meantime, the core details-date, venue, time, dress code and ticket method have been clearly communicated through official channels and associated promotional networks.
ShattaFest Accra 2026 adds another major live music date to the capital’s calendar this month. With the Accra Sports Stadium as the setting and a dedicated ticketing system already active, the event is positioned as a significant night for dancehall audiences in Ghana.
