Organisers of Tidal Rave Festival have officially confirmed that the popular beach event will return to Accra on Saturday, 14 November 2026, taking over the grounds of La Palm Royal Beach Hotel for a full day of music, culture and coastal celebration.
The announcement, shared via the festival’s official social media channels, urged ravers to “lock in” and start making plans with their squads under the hashtag #NoRaverLeftBehind.
In a post accompanied by vibrant imagery, the organisers declared: “RAVERS, IT’S TIME TO LOCK IN! Saturday, 14th November, we’re taking over La Palm Royal Beach Hotel for a full day with your squad. Get the squad together. It’s time to make plans!” Fans were directed to the official website, tidalravefestival.com, for ticket information and further details.
About Tidal Rave
Tidal Rave has grown into one of West Africa’s most recognised youth-focused beach festivals since its inception in 2011. Founded by Beryl Agyekum and organised by the creative agency Echo House, the event began as a gathering for Ghanaian university students on vacation.
It offered a space for young people to enjoy live music performances from local and regional artists against a beachfront backdrop. Over the years it has evolved from its early days at Kokrobite into a larger multi-experience festival that now regularly takes place at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
The move to the more structured hotel grounds in recent editions allowed the festival to expand beyond pure music into areas such as fashion, arts, food markets, dance, gaming and lifestyle activations. Previous years have drawn thousands of attendees, turning the Accra coastline into a colourful hub of energy, neon outfits, beachwear and community connection.
The 2025 edition, themed “The Wild Card,” featured major performances from artists including Black Sherif, Gyakie, Moliy and Nigerian star Ayra Starr, cementing its reputation as a highlight of the Ghanaian entertainment calendar.
For 2026 the Ghana leg is scheduled as a single full-day event on 14 November. Organisers have positioned it as an opportunity for groups of friends to reconnect and create new memories under the inclusive slogan “No Raver Left Behind.” While the complete artist lineup has not yet been revealed, the festival has a history of booking both established Ghanaian acts and international names, and organisers have already begun engaging fans by asking which local artists they would like to see on stage.
Tidal Rave Beyond Ghana
Beyond Ghana, Tidal Rave has been expanding its footprint across the continent. The official website lists additional 2026 editions planned for Nigeria in October, South Africa in September, and Liberia in December. The Liberian edition, first held in 2023 at Caesar’s Beach and Resort in Marshall, marked an important step in the festival’s regional growth.
This multi-country approach reflects the organisers’ ambition to position Tidal Rave as a pan-African platform for youth culture rather than a purely Ghanaian event.
Echo House describes the festival as the largest community-driven beach culture experience in Africa, rooted in African youth identity. It aims to bring people together through shared celebrations of music, lifestyle and pure culture. Over more than a decade it has become a place where old friends reunite, new connections form, and creative expression finds space on the shore.

Partnerships with brands and institutions have also played a role, with previous collaborations supporting cashless markets for young entrepreneurs and community conversation sessions.
Ticket sales are now open through the festival website. Early reactions on social media show a mix of excitement and the usual practical discussions about pricing and logistics. Some users noted the cost of general admission in the current economic climate, while others focused on assembling their groups and counting down the weeks until the event.
The Venue
La Palm Royal Beach Hotel has proven a reliable and popular venue for the festival in recent years, offering a combination of beach access, open space and facilities suited to large crowds. Organisers are expected to deliver the familiar mix of main-stage performances, side activities, food and drink options, and immersive experiences that have defined recent editions.
As November approaches, the announcement is likely to spur further promotional activity, lineup reveals and ticket campaigns. For many young Ghanaians and visitors from across the region, Tidal Rave has become an annual ritual that marks the calendar with sunshine, sound and community.
The 2026 edition at La Palm promises to continue that tradition while carrying forward the festival’s expanding vision.
With the official call to “lock in” now issued, ravers across Accra and beyond are beginning the familiar process of coordinating plans, securing tickets and preparing for another day by the sea. Tidal Rave Festival’s return underscores the enduring appeal of beachside music gatherings that prioritise youth culture, connection and celebration in equal measure.
