“Ladies and gentlemen, with the passing of President Rawlings, our party and sympathizers, have been asking the executives of our party, whether the presidential candidate, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings has the strength to continue as the flagbearer considering the state of distress.

“We the executives, in keeping with tradition have not broached this discussion with her as we know she needs time and space to grieve and it would have been insensitive to open this topic. We Intend to meet with her before the end of this week to have this conversation with her and we will inform our members, supporters and the general public of the outcome in due course.”
