The Ghanaian oil and gas industry has suffered a great loss with the recent passing of Mr. Alex Josiah Adzew, the Chief Operating Officer of the Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL).
Mr. Adzew was a distinguished leader in the industry, having played a key role in the growth and success of GOIL over the years. His contributions to the development of the sector will be surely missed.

Under his leadership, GOIL witnessed significant growth and expansion, with the company expanding its operations both domestically and internationally.
One of Mr. Adzew’s notable achievements was his instrumental role in the acquisition of shares in BP Ghana’s LPG plant in 2017, which helped GOIL to diversify its product offerings and improve its market position.
He was also heavily involved in the company’s ongoing expansion plans, which included the construction of a new refinery in Takoradi.
