Several Ghanaian creative industry personalities have taken to their social media handles to react to the winning of the President elect, Akuffo Addo.
This was followed after, the Electoral Commission’s Chair, Jean Mensa declared Nana Akufo-Addo as the President of the Republic of Ghana.
Some of the industry players who came out to congratulate Akuffo-Addo include, actor Prince David Osei, Roselyn Ngissah, Captain Planet Afia Schwarzenegger among others.
Some even went a step further to console and hail former President, John Mahama for a good job done and allowing peace reign.

Award-winning actor, Prince David Osei, a staunch supporter of the NPP who campaigned for Nana Addo, had been celebrating hours before the final declaration by Electoral Commission Chair, Jean Mensa, took to social media,spefically Instagram to praise God for the victory. He wrote: “Elohim be praised. We move”
Besides, rapper and musician, Captain Planet of 4×4 fame shared a video on his Twitter, of an elephant, the emblem of the New Patriotic Party, crossing a road and wrote:
“COMOT FOR ROAD NANA IS COMING. NO ZEBRA CROSSING”.
That notwithstanding, Nana Asiamah Hanson aka Bulldog, a known critic of the President also took to social media, specifically his Facebook timeline, to congratulate Nana Addo.
“Congratulations Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo” He wrote.
Furthermore, actress Selly Galley shared a throwback photo on her Instagram page with the President and wrote ” 2016, the very day president @nakufoaddo was announced president-elect of the Republic of Ghana. 2020, Congratulations for your re-election Sir”.

She further went on to congratulate Ghanaians for allowing peace to reign during the electoral process. She wrote:
“A bigger Congratulations to Ghanaians for emerging the ultimate winners with such a peaceful election. Ghana has indeed shown a high level of political maturity. Am such a proud Ghanaian”.
Also, Actress Roselyn Ngissah shared a photo of the President on her Instagram page and wrote “Congratulations president-elect… Long live Ghana”.
She later posted a picture of John Dramani Mahama and patted him on the back for a good job done. She wrote “Well done”
Meanwhile, other creative industry personalities have taken to their social media to console John Dramani Mahama who lost the elections against Akufo Addo.
Rapper Guru, wrote, “I truly admire His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for His courage and determination much respect and better luck next time”.
Controversial media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger also took to her Instagram page to praise John Mahama and wished him better luck for the 2024 elections.
“Daddy you fought a good fight, you have proved without any doubt that you are indeed a force to reckon with in the history of Ghana politics. Even though I didn’t publicly support your policies…I’m proud of your effort… ‘Ampa wo ni opanyin beko na awe3 no ne asem’… FLIP your chances in 2024. Well done but better luck next time. I love you His Excellency John Dramani Mahama” she wrote.
