I Admire Stonebwoy’s Growth – Trigmatic

Ghanaian rapper, Trigmatic

Rapper Trigmatic has expressed his admiration for Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy and urges him to stop at nothing but keep soaring.

Trigmatic has been in the music industry for close to 10 years and he is credited with songs including ‘Gye Nyame’, ‘My Life’, ‘My Joley’, ‘Aajeeii’, ‘Motromodwo’, ‘Light and Darkness’, ‘Sika Nti’, ‘Hold Yuh Riddim’ and ‘Where We Dey Go’.

Trigmatic said not many musicians in Ghana have been able to achieve what Stonebwoy has been able to do.

According to him, he believes Stonebwoy has impressed feats and is growing his music career and that very soon, Ghanaians will appreciate his hard work over the years.

He said:

“I really admire how Stonebwoy is growing. His collaborations with all over the world with top artists to winning some of the best awards most musicians desire to have. He might not even notice the work he has done but for some of us who have watched his growth from scratch, we know the investment he has made in his music career and his contributions to the music industry.

“I want to urge Ghanaian musicians to learn from him. It has been an improvement from one year to the other and it takes a talented musician to do that. This is not to say the other musicians are not working but Stonebwoy is getting everything right”.

He further added:

“I invited him for a collaboration and he did justice to the song without taking a penny and I admired him for that”.

Also, Trigmatic disclosed he has been holding master classes for young musicians to learn more about music.

He asserted:

“I always want to contribute to the development of Ghanaian music by helping in any small way and I believe my impact has been felt on the young ones who have attended my master class program”.

He added that he is always motivated to help the young ones to know everything about music so that they don’t make the mistakes their predecessors made.

Trigmatic urges artists to further their education

Born Enock Nana Yaw Oduro- Agyei, popularly known as Trigmatic, called on his colleague artists to further their education while embarking on their music pursuits.

Trigmatic explained that education is a crucial component of every artist’s life since it will enable them to properly understand how to present their craft.

He said:

“I believe that if you are a rising star, you should demonstrate an equal desire to develop yourself. Enroll and show interest in courses that can help you have a better understanding of how even your craft can be projected. Don’t just give up on education because you believe your music career is succeeding at the moment. Our industry is rapidly changing and highly competitive and anything can happen.

“That’s the reason why I have huge admiration for the likes of Samini and Okyeame Kwame who still pursued higher learning despite their musical success. As I said earlier, things are fast changing and it will get to a time that artists will need more than talent and hard work to maintain their fame and success”.

He further added:

“Enroll and show interest in courses that can help you have a better understanding of how even your craft can be projected”.

Trigmatic stated that he never limited himself to pursuing just music – a decision he says he is happy about today.

He said:

“I want to leave a legacy and I know I am on the right path. Apart from my rice business which is doing well, I am also into other things which fetch me money and I am so happy I never boxed myself into doing only music at the time”.
