Emmanuel Nii Ashimore

Notwithstanding the ambitious nature of the agenda, he expressed his confidence in achieving it. He promised to remind the nation when the party achieves the feat.

Moreover, in their quest to win five more seats in the Greater Accra Region, the Greater Accra NDC has provided support to the PC’s Support Vanguard Foundation.

The PC’s Support Vanguard Foundation is a group of current and former parliamentary candidates.

While working to campaign in the orphan constituencies, Nii Aryee Ayisi, former parliamentary candidate for the Weija Gbawe Constituency expressed the group’s determination to work towards achieving victory for the NDC in the region.

“This is the first time I have heard a group come in this election process to make a political donation and we are looking forward to going out there, raising more funds and possibly coming and then supporting massively for the 2024 election year.

“So we are to be on the grounds working with every constituency. Starting next month we are drawing up our programs. We will be doing door-to-door, lorry stations to lorry stations, we are going to be doing shops to shops, whatever we can do to mobilize and work so we win the general elections. That is what we are going to do.”

Nii Aryee Ayisi

The Greater Accra Region has thirty-four (34) constituencies, all parliamentary seats for grabs. Of the 34 parliamentary seats, the National Democratic Congress held a commanding majority of twenty while the New Patriotic Party had 14 in the 202 General Elections.
