McBrown Shares Testimony After Surviving Two Life-Threatening Accidents

Nana Ama McBrown

Popular Ghanaian actress and TV personality, Nana Ama McBrown, has shared her testimony of surviving two life-threatening accidents this year, which she described as nothing short of miraculous.

Speaking during her ministration at ‘The Worshipper’s Heart 24’ event with Adom Kiki at the Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC) in Kumasi, she attributed her survival to God’s divine intervention.

Recounting the first accident, which occurred in June 2024 on an Accra road, the screen goddess revealed that her car somersaulted, leaving her terrified and stuck in her seatbelt.

She feared the worst, imagining the car could catch fire. Fortunately, a nearby truck driver and his mate came to her rescue.

“It was just me and my God. I thought it was the end because nobody saw me. I was stuck in the seat belt in a bush.”

Her voice trembled as she described the overwhelming fear and helplessness, coupled with the relief and gratitude she felt when help finally arrived.

The second incident happened during a trip to visit her father in Kade. McBrown didn’t go into specifics but emphasized her faith in God, stating, “The devil keeps plotting, but I know the God I serve, and He always comes through for me.”

This isn’t the first time the actress has survived a major accident.

On January 30, 2013, Nana Ama McBrown was involved in a near-fatal crash with her then-boyfriend, Maxwell Mensah, on the George Walker Bush Highway (N1), near Lapaz and Mallam in Accra. The accident left her with severe injuries, requiring screws and a metal implant in her right arm.

The incident occurred when the vehicle they were traveling in veered off the road and crashed, leaving the car extensively damaged. Her injuries were so severe that she underwent multiple surgeries to stabilize her arm.

Despite the physical and emotional toll, she has often spoken about her recovery journey and how the experience strengthened her faith in God.

McBrown Speaks About Bullgod’s Attempted Kiss

Nana Ama McBrown has addressed the viral moment at Stonebwoy’s Up & Runnin6 album party, where Bullgod tried to kiss her.

In October this year, a video of the artist manager trying to plant his lips on the actress sparked a frenzy on social media.

McBrown stated that she did not want to overreact and embarrass Bullgod.

However, she also commented that she did not expect that from him and seemed upset at how forceful he appeared. “He [Bullgod] can give me a peck on the cheek once in a while but to hold my head…” she said.

At the same time, McBrown stated that the artist manager was among those people who held her in very high regard.

“Bulldog is someone if you understand him, you can live with him. If you do not understand him, you would argue a lot because he is not a soft person.”

Nana Ama Mcbrown also stated that she will not allow her daughter to abort her child, even if she is a teenager.

To her, her daughter is priceless and will not make the insecurities of someone and his family kill her.

The actress indicated that she does not care what people say about her, but that is her position, and she intends to follow through.

She reminded viewers of the fact that she has only one child and will do everything within her might to ensure that she has the best of life.

“I will not let my daughter abort her pregnancy on any day. I am here to support her every step of the way. If she gets pregnant at 16, she will give birth at seventeen. What I will do is to see any young man she is involved with and the family.

“I will inform the family not to scare their son in case whatever he’s involved in with my daughter leads to an unwanted pregnancy. I am ready to take that responsibility because she is my only priceless asset, and I don’t want someone to make me lose her.”
