Davido Shares Story Of Receiving $20k Gift From Producer

Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has expressed his gratitude after receiving a $20,000 gift from a producer he worked with on his ‘Timeless’ album.

Taking to his Instagram story, the ‘Awuke’ crooner shared the heartwarming gesture, revealing that the producer, who recently received his publishing check, visited his home to personally hand him the generous amount as a token of appreciation.

The music star, clearly moved by the act of kindness, expressed his gratitude to the producer.

“A certain producer/writer I started working with from ‘Timeless’. Finally, he got his publishing check, came to my house, handed me 20 thousand dollars, and said, ‘Baba, I thank you.’ Happy to see there are still good people in this world! Being appreciated sure feels good! Love you, brother!”

Fans and followers have applauded both Davido and the producer, praising the artist for his efforts in uplifting others and commending the producer for expressing his gratitude in such a meaningful manner.

Moreover, Nigerian singer, Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane, called out Davido following the music star’s post about a thoughtful gesture from a producer and writer.

In a surprising twist, Dammy Krane reacted to the post via his Instagram reels. He used the opportunity to remind Davido of an alleged debt, calling the singer “OWE B OWE.”

Dammy Krane further made a public promise, stating that if Davido pays back the money he owes, he will give Davido $50,000 from the amount he receives.

The ‘Amin’ crooner’s statement sparked reactions online, with fans weighing in on his bold promise and the ongoing situation between the two artists.

It is worth noting that Dammy Krane had previously called out Davido online over similar allegations, which led to his arrest.
