D-black Speaks As He Joins OccupyJulorbiHouse Protest

Ghanaian artist, D-Black

Ghanaian rapper, Desmond ‘D-Black’ Blackmore, has reacted to allegations that he was in the habit of having affairs with female signees on his Black Avenue Muzik (BAM) record label and even pimping them out.

D-Black underlined without hesitation that female signees like Afrobeats/Highlife singer S3fa and Afropop singer Nina Ricchie were only his sisters and nothing more. “This is the third time I’m hearing of this,” he noted.

The music executive emphasized, “I’ve never touched anybody that I’ve signed. Never. Sexually. Never ever.”

“The thing is I don’t manage the female artists. I don’t manage any artist. There’s always somebody that’s managing the artist on my behalf. So I’m not doing the day-to-day, running around, seeing the person every day. There’s people who do that. So I’m not an artist manager per se.”

According to D-Black, he has never had a fleeting thought of having an affair with S3fa, adding that she is his sister.

“I promise you S3fa is my sister a hundred percent. When I met her – the S3fa I met is not the S3fa you guys see today. I knew S3fa from seven to eight years ago when she was here and [now] she’s risen.

“That’s my sister, 100 percent. I don’t even know anybody who has dated S3fa before. S3fa is very private. I don’t know anybody who has dated S3fa till today.”

He further revealed the relationship he has with Nina Ricchie. “Nina is my sister, very beautiful, very attractive,” the musician nicknamed Enjoyment Minister said.

D-Black noted he was, in fact, interested in “the traditional woman” and not the “flashy, superstar, someone in the public eye” ones that are usually seen around him “in the clubs, at parties or on social media”.

The music star described the type of woman he desires.

He said contrary to public perception, he preferred career women who were “traditional” over the “flashy” women he was usually seen with “in the clubs, at parties, or on social media”.

He debunked rumors he was fond of having affairs with female acts signed to his Black Avenue Muzik (BAM) record label, and even giving them out to others for sex services at a fee.

“My type of woman is very different. You should see the mother of my kids. She’s a doctor. She has never worn cosmetic nails. I’m very [much] into the traditional woman. There is a perception from my looks that I want a certain flashy [woman], a superstar, or maybe someone in the public eye.

“No, I like the opposite. Very quiet, calm, collected, professional. I’m attracted to nurses, doctors, soldiers, police, government officials. Very simple, in the corner, not too out there. That’s the type of woman I’ve always been into.”

Moreover, Jolé is a brand-new song by D-Black, and it is one of his 2025 songs. The fact that he put a lot of effort into this record, which showcases his unlimited talent and musical versatility, will please his esteemed fans.

The music for Jolé is upbeat and enjoyable. D-Black and Stonebwoy, well-known Ghanaian musicians, showcased their vocal abilities without overwhelming one another, which did justice to the song.

The most recent addition to D-Black’s impressive discography, “Jolé,” confirms his status as one of Ghana’s most talented artists.

His previous works, which all demonstrate his versatility and capacity to captivate listeners, are followed by this song.

“Jolé” is a track sure to leave listeners wanting more because it demonstrates his undeniable talent and makes an impression on everyone who listens.
