Angel Asiamah, the husband of convicted Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, Agradaa, has revealed that he will remain faithful to his wife even though she has been imprisoned.
Agradaa is the founder of Heavenway Champion International Ministry. She was sentenced on Thursday, July 3, 2025, by an Accra Circuit court. She was handed a 15-year sentence with hard labour.
Since she was sentenced, Angel Asiamah has taken over the running of the church, including the preaching slots on Sunday.
In a video on X, Angel Asiamah said many have asked him if he would become a celibate because of his wife. The televangelist’s husband said he would not engage in sexual relations with other women while waiting for his wife to complete her jail term.
“People keep asking me if I can stay chaste due to what has happened to my wife. But I ask them, ‘Why can’t I remain faithful?’ People have forgotten that I lived without sex until I was about 25 years old. So if I could abstain from sex during that time, then I can remain chaste now. Even if it will take 15 years, I can still stand.”

Netizens reacted to Asiamah’s celibacy claim.
“This guy is happy Agradaa is in jail. Lmao. Why is he always talking about her staying in jail for 15 years when he’s supposed to be talking about how he’s going to help her get out of prison or reduce her sentence? How?”

Agradaa’s Ex-Staff Distances from Sika Gari

A former employee of Nana Agradaa set the record straight on certain allegations regarding his association with his former boss.
Speaking in an interview, K Gyasi clarified that he worked for Agradaa as a television presenter at the now-collapsed Thunder TV, and that was it.
He clarified that he had no connections or involvement with the infamous televangelist’s money-doubling scams, which are known by many as Sika Gari.
K Gyasi said it was necessary to make this distinction, as many were coming at him ever since his former boss was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Meanwhile, the prophet who ordained Agradaa has also gone public after Agradaa was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
In a video, Computer Man, reflecting on the predicament of the televangelist, admitted that the decision he and other men of God made to ordain the outspoken, middle-aged woman as an evangelist was a mistake.
Computer Man responded negatively when asked if he and other men of God were to be held responsible for the woes of the televangelist.
He maintained that proper checks were conducted to ensure that Agradaa had a genuine intent of wanting to be an evangelist.

Computer Man stated that at a point, she began hurling invectives at him and others, including the men of God who made her an evangelist, after they tried correcting her excesses.
He said he and seasoned men of God who introduced her to ministry decided to distance themselves from her due to her utterances and actions.
Social media users who took to the comments section of the video expressed concerns about the disclosure made by K Gyasi regarding his association with Agradaa.
Many people expressed concern with the account of the man as they believe he is trying to distance himself from Agradaa in her difficult times.
“He knows all the secrets of Agradaa, but he will not speak the truth.”

“This issue should teach Agradaa a lesson because, in her time of difficulty, most of the people she worked with are now distancing themselves from her.”
