In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the singer expressed pride and joy over the event, declaring it a “fairytale wedding” despite side comments suggesting otherwise.

Fans have since praised Davido for staying unbothered by the criticism and choosing instead to focus on the joy of the occasion and the support he and his wife received worldwide.

Meanwhile, in response to Davido’s enthusiastic post, Nicki Minaj commented, “Congratulations to you both”.
This sweet gesture demonstrates the respect and admiration between the two artists.
Their positive relationship was also evident in their collaboration on Nicki Minaj’s song.
Nicki Minaj praised Davido as an “incredible writer & melody maker” and appreciated their collaboration, stating that she asked him to feature on the song to bring out the Afrobeat tempo.
However, the celebrations were briefly marred by rumors that talent manager Ubi Franklin, a close friend and groomsman, had allegedly stolen a luxury wristwatch at the event.
Ubi quickly shut down the allegations, explaining that he had been offered a watch for sale but declined, and later purchased a different one.
The ‘Assurance’ hitmaker came to Ubi’s defense, responding with a sharp “Nothing to steal.”
Davido’s Stylist Breaks Silence After Rumpled Wedding Suit Criticism

Davido’s white wedding in Miami was a dazzling spectacle, from the guest list to the luxury décor, everything screamed opulence.
But just when the dust seemed to settle, a fresh conversation emerged online about the groom’s suit.
Nigerian fashion entrepreneur Uche Nnaji had openly slammed Davido’s stylist, calling the tailoring “shabby” and questioning her capability after photos showed the outfit looking rumpled.
In a behind-the-scenes video posted online, Yasmeen Ntwarii, the woman behind the wedding look, finally addressed the criticism.
She revealed that the suit was no random pick. It was a Tom Ford masterpiece, designed after she flew to London with the singer for fittings.
According to her, every detail was approved by Davido himself, from the exact shade of white to the cut of the lapels.
She explained: “I followed the entire process, from the sketch to the final stitch.”
Yasmeen revealed that the cufflinks Davido wore weren’t just accessories; they carried a tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi.
Netizens reacted to the stylist’s video.
“Good job baby don’t listen to those jobless people on internet it’s all they have to do to chop congratulations David look stunning in that suit the diamond necklace is a masterpiece.”
