Nigerian music star, Davido has landed a multi-million partnership deal with gaming platform, 1x Bet.

The ‘Jowo’ hitmaker made this known on his Instagram page where he noted that he is “looking forward to the partnership”. Posting a picture of himself signing the deal, he wrote: “God is good. Looking forward to this partnership”.

Fans of Davido and other social media users showed excitement as they were glad that he landed the deal. Some congratulated him and noted that there is more to come for him.

Others also mentioned that Davido must be the celebrity in Nigeria to have the highest number of endorsement deals since just last week he signed a deal with a popular Nigerian company, Viva.

Some also emphasized that this partnership deal doesn’t come as a surprise since it seems every company wants their brand influenced by Davido’s fame. Some reactions to his post read:

Speaking about the partnership event, Davido just like he did last week when he signed a deal with Viva, attended the event in the company of his DMW gang.

A representative from 1XBet said: “We are glad that today we are partnering with Davido. As we all know, 1x Bet is one of the leading bookmakers not only in Nigeria but all over the world, and with Davido’s partnership today, we hope his great influence will expand the company even more”.

Davido signs a deal with Viva

That notwithstanding, it can be recalled that just last week, Davido was;unveiled as a brand ambassador for the “leading manufacturers and distributors of personal health;care and laundry products in Nigeria”, Aspira’s Viva Plus Laundry Sanitizer Detergent Powder.

Speaking at the event, Aspira Head of Marketing, Mr. Santhosh Kumar Nair;said “the company decided to sign on the hitmaker and DMW boss because of his dynamism, popularity among Nigerian youths, and his hardworking;disposition which has put Nigeria on the global music map. We are glad to inform the Nigerians that henceforth, Davido will be the official face of our Viva brand”.

Speaking further, Nair said that Davido through his music is making Nigerians proud all over the world.

“He [Davido] is one of Nigeria’s top brands. He has contributed immensely to the entertainment industry in Nigeria”.

Mr.Nair also noted that Davido continues to inspire millions of Nigerian youths and according to Mr. Nair, “this aligns with the core values at Aspira which is;youth empowerment because there is an alignment between Davido’s vision and the core values of Viva as a brand”.

He further said that the synergy between both brands would impact society in “positive, unique and in significant ways”.

Davido also expressed his willingness to work with the company, stating that the;product- launch was in line with the vision of the company to break new grounds and deliver high-quality products to their customers.

He also disclosed that he accepted to join the family after thorough investigation and background study of what the company is about and discovered that the brand has initiated so many youth-based projects and community development programs.
