Chef Abby's London Food Tour

Ghanaian culinary star Chef Abby (Abena Amoakoa Sintim-Aboagye) is set to make her highly anticipated UK debut with a two-week food tour running from May 10 to May 24, 2026.

Fresh off the success of her nationwide Ghana Heritage Month Food Tour, the TIME 100 Most Influential Creator is taking her signature blend of authentic African cuisine, cultural storytelling, and vibrant energy to one of the world’s most diverse culinary capitals.

Announced via her social media channels in late April, the “Chef Abbys Takes London” tour promises an immersive cultural and culinary exchange.

Chef Abbys plans to dive into British culture and cuisine while spotlighting Ghanaian and broader African flavours through masterclasses, collaborations with UK creators and influencers, high-profile engagements, and community-focused events.

Chef Abbys has rapidly risen as one of Africa’s most dynamic food voices. As the founder of Chef Abby’s School of Food (CASOF) in Ghana, she offers hands-on cooking classes, culinary adventures, and food tourism experiences that go beyond recipes to explore the history, science, and cultural significance behind dishes.

Her initiatives, including The Big Street Feast, also tie into broader social impact goals such as Zero Hunger advocacy.

Named on TIME Magazine’s 2025 list of the 100 Most Influential Creators, Chef Abbys has collaborated with global figures, appeared on major stages like Cannes Lions, and built a passionate international following through her bold, joyful approach to African cuisine.

Her Ghana Heritage Month tour earlier this year which took her across multiple regions was widely celebrated for celebrating local flavours and connecting communities.

What’s on the Menu for London

Details of specific events are still rolling out, but the tour will feature Masterclasses teaching Ghanaian classics and creative fusions with British ingredients.

Collaborations with UK-based chefs, content creators, and cultural influencers.

High-profile engagements that blend storytelling with live cooking demonstrations.

Opportunities for food lovers to experience dishes like jollof, waakye, grilled specialties, and more in new, innovative ways.

The tour positions food as a bridge between cultures, introducing new audiences to the richness of Ghanaian culinary heritage while fostering connections within London’s vibrant African diaspora.

Campaign visuals have already captured attention, featuring Chef Abby against iconic London landmarks while proudly representing Ghanaian colours and identity.

A Timely Cultural Moment

With the tour beginning in just days, excitement is building among food enthusiasts, the Ghanaian and African communities in the UK, and anyone curious about global cuisines.

London’s multicultural food scene provides the perfect backdrop for this exchange, as interest in African flavours continues to surge worldwide.

This UK tour represents more than a series of cooking events,  it’s part of Chef Abbys’ larger mission to elevate African cuisine on the global stage and inspire the next generation of culinary storytellers

By sharing not just recipes but the soul and heritage behind them, she continues to redefine how the world experiences African food.

As she brings her “dades3n” (team/family) to London, Chef Abbys is poised to create memorable moments that celebrate flavour, culture, and connection.
