Ghanaian rap veteran M.anifest has released a new single titled “On Ten,” featuring rising stars O’Kenneth and Wavypae. The track, now available on all major streaming platforms via Mass Appeal Records, marks a notable collaboration that bridges Ghana’s established hip-hop scene with the energetic younger generation of drill and street rap.

The announcement was widely shared across social media, with music accounts highlighting the arrival of the song.

“On Ten” arrives as M.anifest continues to expand his creative footprint following the release of his 2025 album New Road and Guava Trees. That project, his first under the iconic Mass Appeal Records label co-founded by Nas, drew praise for its reflective storytelling rooted in his Madina upbringing and broader themes of growth and resilience.

The new single appears to maintain that forward momentum while embracing a more contemporary, high-energy sound.

O’Kenneth, one of the most prominent voices in Ghana’s drill scene, has built a strong following through raw delivery and street-oriented narratives. His inclusion on a M.anifest record carries particular significance.

In earlier interviews, M.anifest had spoken positively about the younger generation of Ghanaian rappers, including those from the Asakaa movement, noting that he had previously recorded with O’Kenneth during the sessions for New Road and Guava Trees.

At the time, that collaboration did not make the final album tracklist, though M.anifest left the door open for a future release. “On Ten” now fulfills that possibility.

Wavypae, who has previously worked with M.anifest on tracks such as “Times Square,” brings an additional layer of melodic and atmospheric texture to the record. The three-way collaboration creates a meeting point between M.anifest’s intricate wordplay, O’Kenneth’s aggressive energy, and Wavypae’s distinctive contribution.

The title “On Ten” carries a confident, maximalist tone—suggesting full intensity, peak performance, and operating at the highest level. Early reactions from listeners point to a hard-hitting production that allows each artiste space to shine while maintaining a cohesive, high-octane feel.

The song is expected to perform strongly on Ghanaian streaming charts and among the diaspora audience that has followed M.anifest’s career across more than a decade and a half.

M.anifest, whose real name is Kwame Ametepee Tsikata, remains one of Ghana’s most respected and critically acclaimed rappers. Known for sharp lyricism, conceptual depth, and a willingness to experiment, he has collaborated with international figures including Damon Albarn, Erykah Badu, and members of the Rocket Juice & the Moon project.

Locally, he has earned multiple Ghana Music Awards and built a reputation as both an artiste and a thoughtful commentator on the culture.

By linking up with O’Kenneth, M.anifest continues a pattern of engaging with emerging talent rather than remaining isolated in the veteran lane. The collaboration also reflects a broader conversation within Ghanaian hip-hop about continuity, mentorship, and the evolution of the sound.

Drill and street rap have injected new energy into the scene in recent years, and established figures choosing to work with those artistes helps legitimize and elevate the movement.

Relevance of the collaboration

For O’Kenneth and Wavypae, the feature offers significant exposure to M.anifest’s established fan base and the international platform that comes with Mass Appeal.

It also positions them within a lineage of Ghanaian hip-hop that values skill and substance alongside contemporary trends.

As “On Ten” begins its streaming life, attention will turn to how the track is received by both longtime M.anifest supporters and the younger audience drawn to O’Kenneth’s catalog. Music videos, live performances, or further promotional activities could follow in the coming weeks, particularly as M.anifest continues to build on the foundation laid by New Road and Guava Trees.

The release reinforces M.anifest’s status as an artiste who remains relevant and engaged with the current pulse of Ghanaian music. In bringing together different generations and styles on a single record, “On Ten” offers listeners a snapshot of where the culture stands in 2026 rooted in skill, open to collaboration, and still operating at full strength.
