Ghanaian rapper and singer Kwesi Arthur has officially sold out his forthcoming performance at XOYO in London, scheduled for Friday, October 16, 2026. The show forms a key stop on his ongoing Redemption Valley Tour, supporting his 2026 album of the same name.
Ticket platforms including Gigantic and others now list the event as sold out or with no remaining availability, confirming strong demand from fans in the UK capital. The concert, presented by Kilimanjaro Live and Bizzle Entertainment, is set for 7pm to 10pm at the popular Shoreditch venue on Cowper Street.
Age restrictions apply, with the event open to those aged 14 and above (under-16s requiring an accompanying adult aged 18 or older). Face-value tickets were priced around £25 before fees.
The London date was first announced earlier in 2026 as part of the Redemption Valley Experience. Arthur shared the news on his social media channels in May, encouraging fans to sign up for tickets and describing the show as an opportunity to experience the album live. Pre-sale activity began in early June, and general tickets followed soon after.
By early October, the venue had reached capacity, a significant milestone for the Tema-born artist in one of Europe’s most competitive live music markets.
Redemption Valley, released in February 2026 under Sisi with global licensing through Encore Recordings, is an eight-track project clocking in at roughly 21 minutes. The album explores themes of struggle, survival, personal triumph and redemption. Standout tracks include “Redemption,” “I Be Where I Wanted To Be,” “Yawa (Hosanna),” “Immigrant” and “Okay Switch.”
Arthur has described the body of work as a journal of his journey, blending his signature melodic rap style with Afrobeats, highlife and introspective lyricism. The recent video for “Yawa (Hosanna)” has further extended the project’s visibility.
The London concert is part of a broader international itinerary that was rescheduled after Arthur encountered health challenges earlier in the year. Confirmed or announced dates include Boston on October 23, New York on November 7, and Atlanta on November 27.

Arthur has expressed excitement about performing the new material live for the first time with international audiences, promising high-energy sets that mix album cuts with established fan favourites.
About the Artist
Born Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior on December 18, 1994 (some records list 1999), in Tema, Ghana, Arthur rose to prominence in 2017 with the breakout single “Grind Day.” A remix featuring Sarkodie and Medikal propelled the track further, earning him widespread acclaim and a Vodafone Ghana Music Award for Hip Hop Song of the Year. Subsequent releases, including the EPs Live from Nkrumah Krom and Live from Nkrumah Krom Vol II, solidified his position.
He received a BET Awards nomination for Viewer’s Choice Best International Act in 2018 and later appeared in a BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher. Collaborations with artists such as Mr Eazi, Joeboy, Stormzy (on Yaw Tog’s “Sore”), Shatta Wale and others have expanded his reach beyond Ghana.
Arthur’s music often draws from his rags-to-riches experiences growing up in Tema Community 9. He has spoken about using songwriting as a form of personal documentation, turning everyday struggles into hopeful, melodic narratives. His style fluidly moves between trap-influenced hip-hop, Afrobeats and R&B, reflecting the diversity of contemporary Ghanaian sound.
The rapid sell-out of the XOYO date highlights the growing international appetite for Arthur’s work and the strength of the Ghanaian diaspora community in the UK. XOYO, known for its intimate capacity and reputation as a hub for emerging and established acts, provides a fitting setting for what promoters describe as a focused live experience rather than a large arena spectacle.

As the October 16 date approaches, anticipation continues to build among fans who secured tickets. Those who missed out may still find opportunities on secondary markets or waiting lists, though availability remains limited. Arthur is expected to deliver a set that showcases both the introspective depth of Redemption Valley and the high-energy anthems that first brought him to national and continental attention.
The successful London sell-out marks another step in Arthur’s continued evolution from a local breakthrough act into an artist capable of commanding demand in major global cities. With further North American dates ahead and the album still circulating widely, the Redemption Valley Tour is positioning him for sustained international engagement throughout the remainder of 2026.
