Ghanaian singer MzVee has announced the release of her new single “Enjoyment,” scheduled to drop this Friday. The track features fellow Ghanaian artists Sista Afia, UgoCCie and Sefa, forming an all-female collaboration that highlights contemporary Afropop and dancehall energy.

MzVee, whose real name is Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, shared the news on her X account on Monday, October 12, 2026, accompanied by a vibrant promotional video. The animated visual presents a bold pink aesthetic filled with luxury cars, a futuristic city skyline, speakers and champagne, projecting a celebratory mood. Text overlays in the video confirm the featured artists and display the song title in large, glittering letters.

In her caption, MzVee wrote, “In this economy??? WE MUST ENJOY,” pairing the statement with dancing emojis and the hashtag #ENJOYMENT. The post quickly drew responses from fans who expressed anticipation for new music from the established artist. Partial lyrics audible in the teaser include lines about the working week giving way to weekend club activity, reinforcing the song’s focus on leisure and celebration.

The collaboration brings together four distinct voices in Ghana’s music scene. MzVee has built a career spanning more than a decade with hits that blend Afropop, highlife and dancehall influences. Sista Afia is known for her energetic deliveries and strong presence in the Ghanaian and wider African music circuits. UgoCCie and Sefa contribute additional vocal layers that expand the track’s appeal across different listener groups.

This release arrives as MzVee continues to maintain visibility after earlier projects, including her album work and various collaborations. Fans have noted periods of relative quiet between major releases, making the announcement of “Enjoyment” a welcome update for her audience. The choice of an all-female lineup also places the single within ongoing conversations about women supporting one another in the Ghanaian music industry.

The promotional video’s high-production animation style signals a polished presentation. Bright pink colour schemes, luxury vehicles and nightlife imagery align with the song’s apparent theme of choosing enjoyment despite economic pressures. Such messaging resonates with many listeners navigating daily challenges while seeking moments of relief and collective celebration through music.

About the Artist

MzVee first rose to prominence under Lynx Entertainment before transitioning to independent work. Over the years she has released successful singles and albums, collaborated with both Ghanaian and international artists, and maintained a dedicated following. Tracks such as “Natural Girl,” “Sing My Name” and later projects helped establish her as one of Ghana’s consistent female voices in popular music.

“Enjoyment” is expected to become available across major streaming platforms this Friday. Industry observers will watch early streaming numbers, radio play and social media engagement to gauge its immediate impact. The involvement of three other recognised artists increases the likelihood of wider playlist inclusion and media coverage across Ghana and the diaspora.

The timing of the release, mid-October, positions the song for potential airplay during the final quarter of the year when festive and party tracks often gain traction. MzVee’s decision to frame the announcement around the idea of enjoying life “in this economy” adds a relatable, light-hearted layer that may connect with audiences facing cost-of-living pressures.

As the release date approaches, additional promotional activity is anticipated. Teasers, behind-the-scenes content or further visual elements often accompany such drops in the Ghanaian music market. Fans have already begun circulating the announcement, signalling early interest.

MzVee’s latest offering continues her pattern of delivering accessible, rhythm-driven music designed for both personal listening and social settings. With “Enjoyment,” she and her collaborators aim to provide a soundtrack for celebration at a moment when many listeners are looking for exactly that. The single will be available this Friday on digital platforms.
