Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur has been confirmed as a headlining performer for the 2026 edition of Tidal Rave Festival, organisers announced on Monday.
The official Tidal Rave Festival account posted that Arthur, referred to as “the son of Jacob” from Tema, will take the stage at the event. The post encouraged fans, described as “day ones,” to attend and directed them to the festival website for tickets. The announcement comes as the festival prepares for its Accra date on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
Tidal Rave is scheduled as a full-day beach event under the theme “No Raver Left Behind.” Organisers have promoted the gathering as an opportunity for groups of friends to attend together. Tickets are available through the official website, tidalravefestival.com. The festival has historically featured a mix of established Ghanaian artists, emerging talent, DJs, MCs, and lifestyle activations including fashion, arts, food, and games.
Echo House
Echo House, the creative agency behind the event, founded Tidal Rave in 2011. It began as a beach gathering aimed at university students during vacation periods and has grown into one of West Africa’s recognised youth-focused festivals. Early editions took place at locations such as Kokrobite before moving to the more structured grounds of La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in recent years.
The festival has expanded beyond Ghana, with previous editions in Liberia and plans for additional 2026 events in Nigeria, South Africa, and Liberia.

Arthur’s confirmation builds on his prior appearance at the 2024 Tidal Rave, where he delivered a notable performance that included interacting with the crowd and performing signature tracks. Fans and social media users have referenced that set in reactions to the new booking.
About the Artist
Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, known professionally as Kwesi Arthur, was born on December 18, 1994, in Tema, Ghana, and raised in Tema Community 9. He is the second of four children; his brother Benjamin Danso Arthur performs as Dayonthetrack. After completing secondary school at Tema Secondary School in 2013, financial constraints limited further formal education plans.
He began working at a local recording studio, performing tasks in exchange for studio time and learning production skills.
Arthur rose to national prominence in 2017 with the single “Grind Day.” A remix featuring Sarkodie and Medikal amplified its reach. He has released projects including the EPs Live from Nkrumah Krom and Live from Nkrumah Krom Vol II, and the album Son of Jacob. His work blends hip-hop, Afrobeats, and other styles.
He has received awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, including Rapper of the Year and Hip Hop Song of the Year, and earned a nomination for Viewer’s Choice Best International Act at the 2018 BET Awards. He was also nominated for the BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher.
In recent months Arthur has been active with live performances, including dates in the United States as part of ongoing tour activity. His booking for Tidal Rave aligns with the festival’s pattern of featuring high-profile local acts alongside other performers.

The full 2026 lineup for the Accra edition has not been completely revealed. Organisers have previously engaged fans for input on preferred artists and have partnered with brands for experiential elements. Past editions have drawn large crowds, with estimates exceeding 20,000 attendees in milestone years, supporting local tourism, hospitality, and related businesses.
Festival organisers emphasise community and shared experiences in this year’s theme. Beryl Agyekum Ayaaba, associated with Echo House leadership, has previously described the event as focused on connecting young people through music and culture. Security and logistics coordination with local authorities form part of standard preparations for the large-scale gathering.
Tidal Rave continues to position itself as a platform that showcases Ghanaian and African talent while providing a coastal setting for entertainment. With Arthur confirmed for the November 14 date, attention turns to additional artist announcements and ticket sales in the weeks ahead. Attendees can access further details and purchase passes via the official festival channels.
