Adjetey Anang Shares His Experience As A Lecturer

Renowned actor, Adjetey Anang has disclosed that he firmly believes in leaving a lasting impression on his students to follow and improve upon their lives.

According to the actor, his standards never dipped and he discussed how to overcome his inner shyness.

He affirmed:

“The core belief over my years of lecturing has been to leave a lasting legacy for my students to follow and improve upon. My standards never diminished, and I endeavored to do that every single chance I got”.

He mentioned that he was greatly fulfilled by the stimulating nature of lecturing and took pride in the impact he had on numerous students and individuals.

Reflecting on his journey, he shared how happy he was with the lessons he left on people.

The actor admitted that lecturing was not without its challenges. He added that as reserved as he was, it was not easy standing in front of a large audience to teach.

He said that one of the critical lessons he imparted was that, individuals should have continuous improvement and appreciate the impact of crafts on society as a whole.

He sincerely said:

“First of all, I was reserved, so you can imagine how it felt like to stand in front of so many people and teach. It was a different encounter from the start, and the attention from day one was something I needed to keep under control”.

He emphasized:

“Many times, the transition from practical to theory and vice versa could be very tricky. What happened on the ground was not always found in the textbooks, so I had to maintain a healthy balance between the two. It was easy to become swayed because I was already in the industry”.

Lecturing demands careful planning

He asserted that lecturing demanded him to carefully plan in order not to cause any unfortunate lapses in any area of his life as he was able to point out and recognized the challenges.

Adjetey Anang said making up time out of his already busy schedule was tough but the reward has been excellent so far.

Lecturing, marking scripts, preparing lessons, setting exam questions and other administrative tasks was another hurdle for him.

As a family man, he was able to maintain a delicate balance between his acting career, lecturing, marriage, and family life despite it being challenging for him.

He described it as:

“Like carefully selecting and blending a variety of fruits together to create a perfect balance of flavors, none overpowering the others, in a signature fruit salad”.

He said despite the challenges he faced, he required considerable skill and dedication to ensure that each aspect of his life received the attention it deserved.

The actor’s unwavering commitment to leaving a lasting impression on his people is reflected in his words as he stated:

“My standards never diminished, and I endeavored to do that every single chance I got”.

The actress cum producer highlighted some key traits of the actor describing him as one who is humble and respectful.

She wrote:
