Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo has been struck with a fire disaster that has led to the destruction of all her valuables.
The Ghanaian actress who is married to Choirmaster of Praye fame has been brought to tears following the fire incident which has claimed all her belongings in her house. In viral videos making rounds on social media, it can be seen that the fire razed down the entire roof of the building.
Sharing the sad news of the disaster, Beverly disclosed that she has been left with the only dress she was wearing because everything of hers is burnt to ashes. “My house burnt down to ashes within 4hrs…. Everything gone”.
Recounting some of the things she has lost, she revealed “my passports, clothes, shoes, bags, wigs, jewellery, perfumes, my furniture, my kitchen everything gone. My kids’ room and all their clothes everything is gone. I’m left with what I wore out, that’s all”.
According to her, there was no casualties. “Thank God there are no casualties but where do I start from?”.
Narrating what happened, she detailed that “the fire service got in on time but over 40mins they couldn’t go inside because of the heavy smoke (I was wondering why they don’t have protective gears for smoke, gosh) they stood there deliberating and another came and that was the worse, they had to use a generator but it couldn’t start which also took a while, then another came which went through a neighbour’s house to the back of the house and started putting off the fire but it was too late.
“My mum, the kids’ nanny, the kids and I are all left with nothing. This country let’s stop doing partisan politics and set our priorities right and stop the misplaced priorities. Ghana, hmmm”.
The unfortunate incident got several reactions from fans and celebrities alike.
Actor, James Gardiner wrote: “No wayyyy! I feel for you! I’m soooo sorry hun! We thank God you and your family are alive!”

Actor Eddie Watson Jnr said: “@beverly_afaglo oh Beverly! This is so hard. I’m so sorry. I’m praying with you right now that the same God who blessed you to own your house will bring forth a new blessing that will restore everything in no time. Thank God the family is intact. God will help you.”
That notwithstanding, Afia Schwarzenegger, Nana Ama McBrown, Sandrah Ankobiah, Lydia Forson, Bismark The Joke, Vicky Zugah, among other celebrities sympathised with her.
