Ghana’s reigning VGMA Artiste of the Year Black Sherif has expressed a heartfelt gratitude to his fans and the entire Ghanaian community for propelling his career to unprecedented success.

Black Sherif who was the highlight of the night at his annual Zaama Disco concert took a moment to acknowledge the unwavering support that has defined his meteoric rise to fame.

“This is the best year I’ve experienced so far. I have tried to be around the world to experience everything. I love you guys so much. You know the people I dey reach out to if I get a problem, e be you guys,” he declared passionately.

The Yaya crooner attributed his success to the open arms of Ghanaians, stressing that without their support, his career would have faced challenges

The LA Palm Beach Hotel which played host to Black Sherif’s annual music concert transformed into a vibrant hub of energy on Thursday, December 21, as thousands of Black Sherif’s fans flooded in droves to witness the event which is in its second edition.

The night kicked off with a lineup of talented underground acts, setting the stage ablaze and paving the way for Black Sherif’s captivating performance.

From the early hours of the starlit evening until late into the night, the venue came alive with the cheers and applause of music enthusiasts and people from all walks of life who came there for the electrifying live performances from the Simmer Down crooner.

Gracing the Zaama Disco stage was Singer/Songwriter Kuami Eugene who at the peak of his musical prowess, serenaded the audience with a repertoire of his chart-topping hits including his recently released single Monica.

Adding a distinct touch of Tadi, the Fanti Rap god Kofi Kinaata delivered an outstanding performance, while Fameye and Oseikrom Sika further elevated the atmosphere with a stellar show.

The moment Black Sherif took center stage, the crowd erupted into a frenzy, fully immersed in the rhythmic cadence of his chart-topping tunes from the popular First and Second Sermons to his new releases.

As if the night couldn’t get any more electrifying, Adane Best who has been Black Sherif’s idol joined him on stage, amplifying the euphoria and giving patrons an unforgettable musical experience.

Despite the overwhelming turnout, the organizers ensured stringent security measures were in place, guaranteeing a safe and incident-free environment.

Although access hurdles were faced by some attendees, the heavy security presence underscored the commitment to a seamless and secure event.

Although it was a night for rocking awesome music, attendees showed off their amazing styles! The vibe was a colorful mix of all kinds of cool outfits, from fancy ones to super unique and edgy looks that lit up the night.

Recognizing An Old Friend In The Crowd

Ghanaian musician Black Sherif, during his Zaama Disco Concert, paused his performance after he recognized an old friend in the crowd.

During the performance, Black Sherif halted it for a brief moment to give a special shout-out to his friend.

The musician, while standing on stage, extended a handshake to his pal, who was amidst loads of people. Blacko went on to tell the audience that he and the individual go way back as he smiled brightly before resuming his performance.

The video capturing this moment quickly circulated on social media, drawing admiration from fans across Ghana. Many praised Black Sherif for his approachability and how down-to-heart he was. Some folks were surprised that he easily recognized the old acquaintance.
