Efia Odo Apologizes to Sista Afia, Breaks Down in Tears

Sista Afia and Efia Odo

Following a heated exchange on Twitter in which Efia Odo was seen body-shaming Sista Afia, the former has since reflected on her actions and expressed regret.

Efia Odo acknowledged that ‘body shaming’ Sista Afia, especially after being tagged with a picture of her, was disrespectful.

Earlier on Twitter, this comparison sparked a fierce argument between the two socialites.

Sista Afia, feeling targeted and fed up with being bullied on social media, responded by recording a diss song.

The socialite [Efia Odo] admitted that her actions were a mistake and that she was led astray by the devil.

“After I wrote what I wrote to Sista Afia, my spirit was wrestling with me, and there was a part of me telling me what I did was wrong. I don’t like negative energy, and I feel so bad that I let myself down.

“It’s bad, it’s wrong. I am not that type of person, and I allowed the devil to use me. God lives within me, and I want to prove that I am a new creation.”

“I’m not that type of person who should have engaged in such behavior. I allowed the devil to influence me. I believe in God,” Efia Odo shared, her voice trembling and tears almost falling.

Efia Odo further explained that while public feuds might generate buzz in the entertainment industry, they are detrimental to her well-being.

“I am human; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. That’s why I ended the feud with a Bible verse and chose not to record a diss song. It might be good for the industry, but it’s not good for my soul. I am bound to make mistakes, but I am committed to improving myself.”

Despite her apology, one netizen took her to task for her failure to remain mature on social media.

“Maturity is when you think before you act not when you blindly fool and always come back to apologize! This girl has apologized to her on this same show before and promised them it wouldn’t happen again. If she didn’t think of the implications of her tweet prior to tweeting then nadwen wo fom!”

Socialite Apologizes to Stonebwoy Over Comments During TGMA

Efia Odo and Stonebwoy

Efia Odo apologized to Stonebwoy for her comments in the heat of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

To her, her words were not right and she takes responsibility for them.

Her remarks were related to the Artiste of the Year category, where she suggested that an older artist like Stonebwoy should not win merely to equal the achievements of other top-tier artists.

“I acknowledge that my comments about Stonebwoy were disrespectful, and I take full responsibility for them. I spoke out of emotion, and I retract my statements and sincerely apologize.

“I wanted a significant platform to express my apology, and this is the opportunity. The truth is, I feel Stonebwoy is bigger than the Telecel Ghana Music Awards. I believe he deserves even greater recognition, like being on the Grammy stage.”

Efia Odo also debunked claims that she is managing “Eats Avenue” for someone.

According to her, she owns the restaurant, contrary to claims that she was managing the place for someone who is her investor.

“What’s the proof? I am the owner. I own the restaurant. It’s public knowledge. If you go to the Registrar General you’ll find out that it is mine. It is registered in my name Andrea Owusu,” she said.

She acknowledged that, because of issues surrounding a wine shop, people may have reservations about the ownership of the restaurant.

“I totally understand why they will think like that. I learned from that thing. That wine thing was just too much. I was also young and ignorant about a lot of things. But like I said, it’s public knowledge, and you can go to the registration office and check it.”

Efia Odo

Efia Odo indicated that her food is cheap and accepts people from all walks of life.
