Ghanaian music star Fameye born Peter Famiyeh Bozah, disclosed that he is a talented footballer but abandoned the pursuit for a professional career in the field of music.

He explained that to him, football was not his purpose.

Fameye responded that he plays football and he used to play as a defender but they nicknamed him Eto’o.

“I am a defender but everything about me and playing came off as a striker.

“I also loved Eto’o. I had a shirt and, with paint on a paper, I inscribed his name on my back”.

Fameye

He kissed his teeth at his childhood naivety.

The rapper and singer mildly challenged his interviewers to investigate what he was saying by asking them to go to Kwabenya and ask anyone there.

He was asked why he stopped if he is so good and he explained:

“It did not work out. It’s not that I was not successful at it, it is simply not your purpose. You have to know where your destiny will turn around or blossom”.

Fameye

Fameye repeatedly pointed to his left eye with his left hand saying one needs spiritual awakening to see these things.

He highlighted how some people pursue things fruitlessly just because they have been told never to give up.

“It’s different from you being disheartened. Some of these wise quotes worry and have misled us”.

Fameye

The music star stressed that because it is said ‘Never give up’, someone can keep something which he knows in his heart is not in line with his purpose or destiny.

He explained that when he recognized he could play football, he equally noticed it would not help him in the long run. He then identified that he could do music.

The artiste in addition sat up, pushed his chest out, and with hands gestured with fulfillment said when he sings, his soul is excited.

I will attend any university ready to honor me

Fameye revealed that he is available to pursue tertiary education if any university decides to honor him.

He told in an interview that getting a higher degree after his senior high school education is possible, especially if a university chooses to honor him.

According to him, he keeps learning every day to make his life better and more meaningful.

He, therefore urged his fans to take their education seriously, even though he has not received a tertiary education yet.

“If any of the universities are willing to give me something or want to honor me, I am available. We keep learning every day.

“Thankfully we are able to put food on our table every day but it does not mean those listening to me should not go to school. Go to school because education is very important”.
