The host on Krokrokoo on Peace FM, Kwame Sefa Kayi has joined the number of people disputing recent claims made by the founder and leader of the Rockhill Chapel, Reverend Sonnie Badu, against the consumption of pork.
According to the journalist, he would be the warehouse of demons if it were to be true that eating pork causes a person to be possessed.
He stated amidst the laughter;
“On the flip side, it has been reported that Sonnie Badu says those who eat pork will have demons attacking them at midnight. I don’t know if he actually said it. Sonnie Badu, wherever you are it is being reported that you claim demons will possess those of us who eat pork, If that’s the case I must be full of it”.Kwame Sefa Kayi
Sonnie Badu who is widely known as a gospel singer has recently been in the news following his open advocacy against pork consumption.
According to him, pork is an unclean food that opens one up to demonic attacks and possessions.
He has sought to ground his argument in the teachings of the Bible, however, some of his critics say Jesus according to the New Testament sanctified all things including pork for human consumption.
Reacting to Kwame Sefa Kayi’s position on the subject, some of his listeners via text messages shared thoughts with several of them largely supporting the journalist.
A message from Chief Biney read by the host said;
“If Sonnie Badu himself turns into kwii (pig), we will eat him”.Chief Biney
Go and ask the witches and wizards
US-based Ghanaian preacher and Founder of Rockhill Chapel, Rev Sonnie Badu has chosen witches and wizards as his first witnesses to his teachings against the consumption of pork which according to him, makes a man unclean and vulnerable to witchcraft.
Rev. Sonnie Badu in the last couple of days has come under a barrage of attacks, especially from a section of Ghanaians for teaching against the eating of pork which is a delicacy.
In one of his sermons touching on how demons usually operate on victims who consume unclean foods, Sonnie Badu categorically stated that pork is unclean.
“Once the demons discover that you have eaten something unclean, your spirit automatically gets subdued. Once you go to bed, they come, because you gave them access”.Rev. Sonnie Badu
However, responding to this in an interview, Rev. Sonnie Badu asked his critics to seek the right answers from the witches and wizards themselves if they think he is not telling the truth.
He challenged saying;
“You can ask all witches and wizards”.Rev. Sonnie Badu
According to him, the scripture work is only for people who are pure.
Rev. Sonnie Badu challenged the host of the show saying;
“And all of us are not pure therefore the witchcrafts get the chance of trapping us, and what gives them the opportunity to destroy us is food and what food is it? It is pork. You can ask all witchcrafts”.Rev. Sonnie Badu
Dr. Sonnie Badu further stated that people who dispute his teachings can go ahead and eat it if they wish.
“Please you can eat everything you wish to”.Rev. Sonnie Badu
Throwing shades at his critics, Sonnie Badu said,
“They sit down and quote the scripture that Jesus Christ said he has sanctified all things therefore they can eat of it but are you clean? Do you qualify to even say that?”.Rev. Sonnie Badu
Rev. Sonnie Badu also added that he is the number one teacher on the earth when it comes to witchcraft teachings.
The preacher bragged on live radio;
“By the grace of God, when you search for witchcraft, I am the number on YouTube. You can google ‘exposing witchcraft’. I have over 31 messages on witchcraft”.Rev. Sonnie Badu
During the interview, he revealed that he has in-depth knowledge about witchcraft because he is a living testimony to the practice.
He also noted that, due to his experience on the topic, he has been able to catch the eye of people across the world and his teachings online are gaining massive views and patronage.
He told the host;
“Some of my messages are up to 400k views. Even Americans travel all the way to my church, and when you listen to my counseling session, you would be shocked to hear some of the things that are happening”.Rev. Sonnie Badu
