Ghanaian actor, Van Vicker has expressed his disappointment over a viral video of an Anglican Rev. Father kissing some students in front of a congregation.
In the viral video, it can be seen that the Rev. Father who has been identified as Rev.Obeng, was kissing three female students of the St.Monica Training collage in Mampong.
At a point in the video, the Reverend forced himself to kiss one of the students who wasn’t willing to kiss him on the lips.
More so, the congregation also seemed happy seeing their priest kiss the students on the lips as they were shouting during the awkward situation.
Reacting to the video, Van Vicker who clearly was in shock and couldn’t understand why the Priest was kissing the students described the act as “repulsive”. He went on to question what message the Rev. Father was preaching to call for the kiss.
“I can’t comprehend this. An Anglican Rev. Father kissing students in front of the congregation. I wonder what the message was to warrant the kiss. The third student was distressing but he forcefully proceeded. [This is] repulsive in my opinion”.
Aside Van Vicker, Nigerian actress, Nazo Ekezie also had something to say about the viral video.
Nazo said: “if the Rev. Father could kiss the students in front of a congregation, only God knows what he would be doing in private”
She also called on the school authorities to sack the Reverend father from the school “because no one knows what will happen next”.
Well, Van Vicker and Nazo Ekezie aren’t the only ones who frowned against the misconduct of the Rev. Father.
Currently, ‘Rev father’, ‘Anglican’ and ‘Holy kiss’ are the trending topics on social media as netizens went berserk when the video hit the internet. These social media users are expressing different views on the matter.
Almost everyone has expressed shock over the video. While others also saw nothing wrong with it, others thought of it as being sacrilegious. Others also described it as being unlawful.
