Celebrated Ghanaian rapper, Kwesi Arthur has debunked some shocking rumors and serious allegations about ace Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie.
This follows an unknown man, who claimed to be a spiritualist, making wild allegations against Sarkodie, saying that Sarkodie has some spiritual powers which helps him steal the glory of every underground rapper he features in a song.
In reaction to this, Kwesi Arthur rubbished these claims noting that it is absurd for any thinking human to hold such views about the rap titan, Sarkodie. Speaking further about the rumors, the award-winning rapper noted that after he featured Sarkodie on the remix of his hit song ‘Grind day’, it propelled his career and got him [Kwesi Arthur] to reach a wider audience.
He also disclosed that Sarkodie does not take money from;most of the underground artists he features on their songs and to him, Sarkodie;has been of great help to many of them.
“No, that never happened and it’s not true. it boosted; my music career instead because he has way more reach than I do. So, it amplified what I did. I don’t even know why people say things like that. It’s not even needed. Honestly, it’s rubbish. This is somebody who is helping people and he doesn’t even take money from people to push them. He is helping a lot out there in the game”.

Further touching on the issue, Kwesi Arthur noted that;if Sarkodie had decided not to help any artist to rise, people will criticize him. He, therefore, admonished people to rather appreciate Sarkodie’s efforts to raise other people, instead of denting his image. He also advised that people should stop coming up with such rumors since it won’t help the music industry to grow.
“If he doesn’t do it too and he just sits around, these same people will criticize him. He is really helping a lot of people out there and changing the lives of their families as well. And so, if for anything at all, we should rather be praising him rather than saying bad stuff about him. You know, such negative things won’t help us”.Also,.
It can be recalled that recently, there was a video which was fast making rounds on social media where a man who claimed to be a spiritualist warned the management of fast-rising rapper, Yaw Tog not to allow Sarkodie to work with him no matter the circumstances and the money he offers.
According to him, if the management of Yaw Tog allows such a collaboration, Sarkodie will steal Yaw Tog’s luck for the next five years. The unknown man further claimed that Sarkodie will use the luck he has claimed to grow his empire and promote his brand for five years and alleged that Sarkodie will only give the luck back to Yaw Tog after five years.
