The BET-nominated artist, Kwesi Arthur took to his Instagram page to announce the release of the audio and visuals of the song. Posting an excerpt of the music video, he wrote:

That notwithstanding, the music video which was premiered on the official YouTube page of Joeboy has over 38,000 views, and is currently trending on some music streaming platforms.

The original version of ‘Door’ is a single off Joeboy’s 14-track debut album ‘Somewhere Between Beauty and Magic’. Also, the album was released at the beginning of February this year.

More so, it seems the current stream of Nigerian artists loves spending most of their time as well as shoot their music videos in Ghana. It is worth mentioning that, the music video for ‘Door’ was directed by Andy Madjitey and was shot in Ghana.

The great synergy between Joeboy and Kwesi Arthur

Speaking about how the collaboration came about, Joeboy disclosed that he came to Ghana to promote his debut album. But then, he got inspired to feature a Ghanaian artist on one of the songs off the album.

“I was in Ghana for a media tour for my album ‘Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic’. The atmosphere and vibe being there inspired me to want to feature a Ghanaian artist on the video for the song… Kwesi Arthur was the first person to come to mind. Because we already have this synergy that is evident in the smash hit ‘Baajo’ which is by Kwesi Arthur featuring me. I felt like he was the right person for the song. So, I decided to send him the track, he loved it and recorded on it, a day later we shot the video in Ghana, and voila.”

This won’t be the first collaboration between the two artists, as it can be recalled that Kwesi Arthur featured Joeboy on his hit song ‘Baajo’. The song saw a perfect collaboration between the two artists which made the song trend as well as top charts. Similarly,

In an earlier interview, Kwesi Arthur revealed that after recording the song, the only voice he reckoned would be a perfect fit for the song was Joeboy. Also,

“After I recorded the song, I started thinking of who I could feature on the song. The only person that came to mind was Joeboy. So, I hit him up and it was fireworks”. Meanwhile,
