Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, who is popularly known as Kwesi Arthur has officially signed a new design deal with Puma.
The BET Awards nominee announced the completion of the deal with the German multinational corporation that designs and manufactures athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories via his Instagram page.
The Tema-based rapper, who just earned his first nomination in the 2021 MTV Africa Music Awards, could not hide his excitement said he ‘partnered with Puma to create my own Kwesi Arthur Ghana Football Jersey’.
To start with, he announced that he would be giving out two jerseys to his fans and further explained the steps as to how they could become the winner of the immaculate jersey.
“Yoo my people!! I’ve partnered with @Puma to create my own Kwesi Arthur Ghana Football Jersey and I will be giving away 2 jerseys to you all. Go to the link in my bio or swipe up on my stories for different ways you can enter your name to win one of these fire jerseys! Grrr,”
His fans who were proud of him shared in his happiness as they praised and congratulated him for his achievement.
“Ground up to the top, super win for you Kwesi. I will be the first to receive the jersey.
“You are at the top congratulations brother. Keep winning”.
Others took the opportunity to tease him and ask if he was now venturing into football since he mostly likes to wear jerseys most times even before this deal.

He shared photos of his new jersey which derives its inspiration from the new Ghana Black Stars jerseys.
Puma and the Ghana national teams have partnered for years. In October this year, they released new jerseys for the Ghana national teams.
The theme behind the new design is “crafted from culture” as the jerseys highlight authentic Ghanaian football history and culture.
The aesthetics of the jersey focuses on bold simplicity, mastering of patterns using kente, moisture management, player performance, and color enrichment
The home kit maintains its primary color of white, with sub-patterns of grey vertical stripes. The Black Star in the middle of the shirt matches the black scattered pattern on the sleeves as well.
The away kit sees a switch in color from red to yellow with similar patterns in the new home kit. Unlike the home kit, the sleeves are plain black with no patterns.
That aside, The ‘Grind Day’ hitmaker, Kwesi Arthur was revealed as a nominee for the 2021 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) for the Best Hip Hop Act category.
He is competing against Khaligraph Jones, Nasty C, NGA, OMG, and Suspect 95 for the award.
Kwesi Arthur is the only Ghanaian nominated in the 2021 MTV Africa Music Awards.
Nigeria’s top acts including Grammy-nominated artist Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Davido, and Wizkid are all nominated for the 2021 MAMA Artiste of the Year.
