The Philly rapper partnered with Puma, REFORM Alliance, DocuVault and GoPuff, to deliver toys, clothes, and game consoles to 35 families who are affected by the prison system.

Additionally, Meek Mill donated $30,000 to a North Philly organization named Twelve Days of Christmas, which is a non-profit that helps families during the holiday season.

Stopping by the Morse household, kids unboxed gifts which included Puma threads, iPad’s and an XBox Series X, and Meek Mill also dialed in to send a personal message to Anthony Morse and the kids.

“I would call it a merry Christmas for y’all, man. I just wanted to stop through, say what’s up. Let y’all know we appreciate y’all” Meek said.

Speaking with a Los Angeles based media firm, TMZ, Meek said “It’s been a tough year for all of us, but through all the ups and downs, I’ll always do my part to support and give back to the Philly community that raised me”.

“I remember not having much growing up, so it’s important to use my platform to give back, especially to the families trying to provide for their kids while also dealing with the criminal justice system.”

Anthony Morse, one of the fathers that got a surprise from Meek, got tearful during the conversation as he expressed his appreciation to Meek. Morse fosters five kids in addition to his own children, so he was particularly grateful for Meek’s kind effort.

Say what you will about Meek Mill’s behavior on Twitter but you can’t deny that he’s passing his blessings forward.

Just recently, Meek Mill and Michael Rubin teamed up to provide financial relief for underserved kids in their Philadelphia hometown by starting a $2 million scholarship fund.

The scholarship money will assist approximately 1,000 pre-Kindergarten to high school students from low-income households during the 2020-21 school year. It will cover their tuition at private and parochial schools and provide access to much-needed at-home technology, including laptops, tablets and WiFi connection.

The Philly rapper and the 76ers co-owner launched a criminal justice reform organization called REFORM Alliance in January 2019, and they’re equally passionate about education in Pennsylvania after previously committing to donate “millions of dollars” to the cause.

Rubin also fed struggling families during the early stages of coronavirus with his ‘All In Challenge’ from April of this year. He encouraged celebrities, such as Mill, Justin Bieber, Drake, Madonna, and many more, to donate once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
