Following complaints from Shatta Wale’s mother about feeling neglected by her son, questions have arisen regarding whether he is her only child.
Many wonder why Shatta Wale’s mother hasn’t turned to her other children for support if he [Shatta Wale] is unwilling to assist her.
Clarifying the situation, Florence Chapman, a relative of Shatta Wale’s mother who is currently caring for her confirmed that she indeed has other children.
She disclosed that Shatta Wale is her only son, with three other daughters as well.
“Shatta Wale’s mother has four children: three girls and one boy. Shatta is the only boy. She had her first daughter before meeting Shatta’s dad. The eldest daughter is not financially stable. The other daughters have been warned by their father not to support her. Occasionally, they sneak in to visit her, but not regularly, and she can’t force them.”

She stated that despite all these hurdles, the woman had tried several times to establish that also failed along the line until her health deteriorated.
“She had a good food joint around Papa’s Pizza but then the owner of the house came back and said she wanted the place so she had to move out. She has not been idle since, she had tried a few times to make ends meet. But now she is not well. The woman is 70 years old. She tried.”

Responding to the claims that Shatta Wale bought his mother four cars, she clarified, “Shatta Wale bought only one car for his mother, a KIA vehicle.”
However, multiple award-winning Ghanaian Reggae Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale shredded his parents into pieces and blamed them for the inappropriate way they brought him up which has made him the monster he is today.
His recent attack on his family is a result of a recent video that surfaced on the internet where his mother was soliciting help and chastising him for abandoning her for the past 10 years.
In a post sighted on his Facebook page, Shatta Wale has created the impression that his parents especially his mother neglected him when he was young, and as a result, it forced him to become a not so fully focused personality.
Shatta Wale’s Mother Suffers Mental Distress
Florence Chapman shared a concerning update on Shatta Wale’s mother’s current condition.
Previously, when Afia Schwarzenegger posted a TikTok video disrespecting Shatta Wale‘s mother, Florence responded passionately on social media.
She criticized Afia for disrespecting the woman who gave birth to Shatta Wale, whom Afia now claims as a friend.
Florence also shed light on the challenging circumstances Shatta’s mother faced before their family took on her care responsibilities.
The caretaker revealed that Shatta Wale’s mother’s condition has deteriorated to the point of mental distress.
“This will be my final video regarding Shatta Wale’s mother’s condition. She has been enduring psychological trauma, desperately trying to reach her son without success. She reached out to many people for help, including family members who also tried to intervene without results.”

She recounted instances where Shatta’s mother expressed suicidal thoughts and had panic attacks, often waking up at night searching for her son.
“Her condition deteriorated. She would wake up in the middle of the night asking for her son Junior, crying out for him. She has suffered mental breakdowns and repeatedly mentioned thoughts of suicide, which initially we thought might be emotional blackmail. She has faced mockery in her village where people accused Shatta Wale of neglecting her while spending on others. This constant reminder fueled her suicidal thoughts.
“Before we took her in, she lived in the village enduring these taunts. Her niece, Sherico, intervened, bringing her to Accra and ensuring she received medical care. Despite treatment, she still needs psychological support. She insisted on speaking out, threatening suicide if we stopped her, which is why she came forward.”

Her remarks follow Shatta Wale’s mother expressing feelings of abandonment by her son for over a decade on social media.
