Rockhill Chapel founder, Rev. Sonnie Badu, has issued a prophecy about actress Nana Ama McBrown.
According to him, the actress cum media personality will one day become an astute politician.
Sonnie Badu made these pronouncements when he mounted the pulpit to preach during a prayer conference and McBrown also walked in at the particular time.
Touching on what he described as ‘special grace’, Sonnie Badu said McBrown’s current status is just a starting point, adding that no amount of envy or scandal can disrupt her destiny.
“Do you know you are going to be a politician? There is nothing I have said that hasn’t come to pass and please hear this; Nobody can take away your blessings. (Hits her palm that has been stretched forth),” he said.
“The more they talk about you the better and higher you go. I don’t know why Ghana is filled with so much envy. Nobody can touch your grace,” he stated.
He also recounted how his prophecy about the actress seven years ago, materialized.
“Seven years ago, I was preaching at Family Chapel in Kumasi and she walked in. At that time, she was believing God for something and I spoke into her destiny. Do you remember? (McBrown nods her head in agreement). Nothing I say doesn’t come to pass,” he further added.
Meanwhile, the Velocity prayer conference in Accra was witnessed by several Ghanaian celebrities including the likes of Empress Gifty, Tracey Boakye, Prophet Kumchacha, Emelia Brobbey, and Portia Asare among others.
The event was hosted by the head pastor of the Reign House chapel, Prophet Eric Boahen.
In other news, despite the autopsy reports confirming that the late John Kumah died from ‘multiple myeloma’ – Captain Smart’s earlier allegations that the late MP was poisoned refuse to vanish from social media.
Still, on the poisoning debate, an old video of McBrown detailing how she suffered food poisoning on set resurfaced on social media.
McBrown recounted how she almost died after eating on set.
According to McBrown, while she was eating, she was joined by a colleague who insisted on eating with her.
A few minutes after the said person joined her to eat, she collapsed and lost consciousness.
Ace movie producer Miracle Films was called to the scene and it was he who rushed her to the hospital to seek treatment.
McBrown disclosed that she spent two weeks in the hospital and wasn’t allowed to eat for 4 days.
Sonnie Badu On How He Survived In London
Renowned Gospel Musician, Sonnie Badu shared the struggles he experienced when he traveled to the United Kingdom for the first time.
The gospel singer said after he was convinced by one pastor to come to the UK to support him in God’s work, he was left devastated and alone after he was thrown out of the pastor’s home.
Recounting his story as a motivation to a church congregation, Sonnie Badu said life was unbearable back then and hardly fed in a day.
He noted that he was homeless and resorted to sleeping in a car for a while and sometimes on the streets of London in the cold weather.
According to him, hunger forced him to steal food items from people’s fridges when they were away from home.
“I have struggled in life. I was homeless in London. I slept in one car for a while. Sometimes I have to walk in the cold for five hours at night. At some point I would wait for people to leave home then I would steal some food items from their fridge. I was finding it difficult to feed,” Sonnie Badu recounted.
The ‘Baba’ hitmaker said he was worried by his predicament and questioned God’s existence in his life and asked him to overturn his situation while still maintaining faith in him [God].
“So, I told God is this how he is going to watch me suffer? Can he not bless me with just a song to change my fortunes? Is this how I am going to sing for pastors to use me anyhow? But if God remembers you, he has remembered you. I never lost faith in him,” Badu stated in a video on Instagram.
Sonnie Badu indicated that all these life struggles are the inspirations behind most of his songs.
