The reigning TGMA Artiste of the Year, Stonebwoy, has released his new collaboration with Dutch guitarist and music producer, Ginton.
Stonebwoy released the song ‘Jejereje’ at midnight on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, on major digital music streaming platforms and has received positive reviews from fans on social media.
The dancehall musician built excitement and anticipation among fans after teasing the song on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
The BHIM Nation leader shared a 20-second teaser featuring his recording session with the Amsterdam-based guitarist, Ginton, and the song’s intro.
The collaboration marks Stonebwoy’s first music collaboration with Ginton, who is renowned for working with famous Canadian rapper Drake on his Billboard chart-topping Tie That Bands song from his 2022 seventh studio album, Honestly, Nevermind.
Stonebwoy, who is expected to release his sixth album before the end of 2024, took to his X page to express his excitement for the new song and announce that the music video will be released on YouTube at 6 pm GMT on Tuesday, September 24.

Stonebwoy and Ivorian music legend Meiway have also sparked reactions on social media after a video of them together was shared by the dancehall artiste on his TikTok page.
In the video, Meiway could be seen happily singing Stonebwoy’s latest hit song, ‘Jejereje’. The video went viral, sparking excitement from Ghanaians who have long appreciated Meiway’s music.
Jejereje, which features a rich cultural sound, has been trending on social media even before its official release for its unique blend of African rhythms. Many Ghanaians have expressed their excitement at seeing the two artists together.
Many people said they were hoping that Meiway would officially join Stonebwoy for a remix or collaboration on ‘Jejereje’, as they believe the song fits Meiway’s style perfectly.
Artist Donates GHC10K at Youth Peaceful Unity Soccer Gala
Music icon, Stonebwoy showed up at the Youth Peaceful Elections Unity Soccer Gala held at the Kawukudi Astroturf Park in Nima on Monday, September 23, 2024.
The multiple award-winning singer made a generous gesture after adding an amount of GHC10,000 to the prize money to be shared among the top three teams.
Fadama 133 emerged champions of the competition after defeating Sabon Zongo in the final of the 16-team championship, which started on September 21 and ended on September 23.
Stonebwoy, known in real life as Livingstone Satekla, surprised the fans and young footballers after showing up to support the event aimed at promoting a peaceful election in December.
The TGMA artist of the year delivered a powerful speech, edging the youth of the country to put Ghana first during the democratic exercise and stay away from anything that will lead to trouble.
He also trumpeted the message of avoiding tribal politics, claiming whether you are from the north, south, east, or west, are all Ghanaians.
Before leaving, Stonebwoy took a moment to perform one of his hit records before displaying a little bit of his footballing skills. He then pledged an amount of GHC 5000 to the winner, GHC 3000 to the runners-up, and GHC 2000 to the third-placed team.
The event dubbed, One Goal, One Vote, thrilled fans around Nima and its environs, where Stonebwoy has most of his fans from. Unfortunately, his team Ashaiman could not shine in the competition.
Stonebwoy who was spotted leaving the Kawukudi Astro Turf Park in a fleet of cars with his personnel bodyguards and a motorcade providing security courted controversy after a video of him throwing money at fans.
The BHIM Nation boss’ car was mobbed by many fans who wanted to catch a glimpse of him before his departure. To show his love and appreciation for the fans’ support, Stonebwoy came out of his Toyota Land Cruiser’s sunroof to spray money into the air, which many people rushed to grab as he exited.
Recently, Stonebwoy claimed that he disliked throwing money at fans because he finds it disrespectful and preferred to put money in his fans’ hands. He noted that the habit of throwing money at fans was a dangerous act, as people would end up injuring themselves during the melee that might ensue.
The musician received criticism from Ghanaians on social media for his gesture after his recent remarks about the act, with many people calling him out for his inconsistency.
