Joyce Bawah Mogtari, spokesperson for John Mahama and his campaign, has highlighted the NDC’s efforts in organizing a well-structured and data-driven campaign.
She explained that the campaign strategy was carefully planned and effectively executed, utilizing research and data insights to reach key areas.
Mogtari added that, as part of this extensive outreach, the NDC campaign team has traveled to 14 regions across the country, engaging with communities and strengthening their message nationwide.
“Been an interesting few weeks, on a fast-paced campaign with our Flag bearer John Mahama, and the team.
“Talk to ordinary citizens, talk to opinion leaders and chiefs, talk to children and women and the stories are all the same”.

The NDC stalwart described how, throughout these campaign tours, citizens have shared distressing accounts of widespread hardship and rising poverty.
Mogtari emphasized that, in community after community, people speak of a persistent lack of jobs and the desperate circumstances pushing many young people to depend on betting as their only source of income.
She further highlighted the deep frustration felt by citizens over a failing and cash-strapped economy that seems to offer little in the way of opportunity or relief.
According to Mogtari, there is a prevailing sense of disillusionment, as many feel that government has abandoned its promise of progress and prosperity.
She asserted that this left people to navigate an environment where hope and stability are in short supply.
The NDC Communicator indicated that this growing desperation, she suggested, underscores the urgent need for change.
Joyce Bawah further stressed that Ghanaians have a profound duty to ensure a brighter future for their children and the younger generations.
She highlighted the importance of creating a stronger economy that can sustain growth, provide more jobs, and offer meaningful opportunities for all.
According to her, the nation’s leaders and citizens alike must work toward a society where young people are empowered to thrive, with access to stable employment, financial security, and the chance to build successful, fulfilling lives.
Bawah urged that this commitment to progress and prosperity is essential to restoring hope and laying a solid foundation for generations to come. “The only way we can achieve that is to vote for change”.
Mahama Pledges Efficient Government, Ex-Gratia Abolition
Furthermore, Joyce Bawah Mogtari highlighted that John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s flagbearer, has pledged to lead a streamlined government aimed at enhancing efficiency and ensuring long-term stability for Ghana.
According to her, Mahama’s plans include abolishing ex-gratia payments to reduce government expenditure and channel resources more effectively.
Mogtari indicated that the NDC flagbearer has also committed to rebuilding the economy to create sustainable growth and job opportunities for Ghanaians.
Additionally, she indicated that Mahama intends to prioritize a comprehensive infrastructure development agenda.
This, the NDC stalwart indicated, aims to modernize essential sectors and improve the quality of life for communities across the country.
“[Mahama pledges to] create jobs through the 24-hour economy, and promised to complete all abandoned infrastructure projects to safeguard taxpayers’ money, promised a strong anti-corruption campaign by improving public governance and services to ensure that our institutions are strong enough and independent’.

Joyce Bawah Mogtari further emphasized that the incoming administration is committed to thoroughly investigating all allegations of corruption and misuse of public funds.
She stated that any misappropriated resources or assets will be reclaimed to restore accountability and uphold the public’s trust.
This effort, she noted, aims to ensure that public funds are used transparently and responsibly.
According to Mogtari, this will set a strong example for good governance and reinforce the NDC’s commitment to ethical leadership. “Make a date soon with John Mahama at a place near you and be an active part of the campaign for change”.
Mogtari expressed her deep hope that all Ghanaians are not only prepared but also eager for a positive change this election, one that will pave the way for a brighter future.
She emphasized the importance of unity in this effort, believing that by working together, the nation can build a Ghana that reflects the aspirations and dreams of all its citizens. “Please vote wisely, vote for Mahama for change”.
