The opposition National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for Ketu South for the 2024 General Elections, Eric Edem Agbana has accused President Akuffo Addo of destroying Ghana through his bad leadership.
He noted that one does not only require an explosion of boom to destroy a nation but poor policies and bad leadership can destroy a country.
The former Deputy Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress expressed his shock about the complete silence of people who used to criticize the erstwhile John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress’s administration. He asserted that the silence of these people makes them accomplices of the poor leadership of the current administration.
“You don’t necessarily need an atomic bomb to destroy a nation. Bad Leaders with their Actions and inactions do that daily. The stark reality is that President Akufo-Addo is destroying this country. Unfortunately, Moral Society is mute because most of them are no more victims but accomplices”.
Edem Agbana
According to the Youth Activist, many of the things that President Akufo-Addo has gotten away with, are things that Ghanaians particularly the moral society would not have forgiven the National Democratic Congress if it were in power.
Edem Agbana Calls On Young People To Stand Up Against Injustice
The National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for the Ketu Constituency also urged the Ghanaian youth to begin to speak against authority in the face of injustice.
“You and I are young, and we cannot afford to fail our nation. We must stand up and be counted”.
Edem Agbana
According to Mr Agbana, young people in Ghana have a moral and patriotic assignment to always speak out and demand accountability from the government.
“Be an active part of the efforts to rescue Ghana from the hands of nepotistic, oppressive, corrupt and dishonest leadership”
Edem Agbana
