The Deputy National Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Ruth Dela Seddoh has lamented over the deteriorating state of Ghana’s educational system under President Akufo-Addo and the ruling New Patriotic Party administration.
Speaking at an induction ceremony for newly elected executives of the Tertiary Educational Network (TEIN) of the opposition National Democratic Congress at the Accra Technical University, Mrs Ruth Seddoh chastised President Akufo-Addo and his administration for failing to address the various challenges that have bedeviled Ghana’s education system.
According to her, Ghana’s educational sector is suffering from numerous problems, particularly infrastructural deficit, lack of teaching and learning materials especially at the basic school level but yet the New Patriotic Party administration has failed to address these challenges.
The Deputy National Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress further expressed her disappointment about the government initiative of introducing ‘one laptop per child’ amidst all the challenges that children in schools are going through.
Again, the young promising female politician recounted some ‘heartbreaking tales’ of the government’s inability to create job opportunities for graduating students, a situation which according to her has led to an alarming rate of unemployment in the country.
Touting Party’s Superior Alternative Policies
Moreover, the opposition National Democratic Congress Deputy Youth leader expressed confidence in the competence of the party’s flagbearer and leader, John Dramani Mahama to restore the country to the path of growth and progress when elected into office in 2025.
According to her, the National Democratic Congress and its flagbearer for the 2024 general elections are poised to liberate the country from its ‘strangled’ current economic crises’.
She thus urged the Tertiary Educational Network (TEIN) of the party in the Accra Technical University and its counterparts in other educational institutions to work tirelessly for the victory of the party and its flagbearer in the 2024 general elections.
Additionally, Mrs. Ruth Dela Seddoh called on the youth across the country to rally behind the National Democratic Congress and vote for the party in the 2024 general elections.
Meanwhile, the Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress in the Banda Constituency, Peter Dongi has stressed that former President John Dramani Mahama is Ghana’s ‘only hope’ in the 2024 general election and hence Ghanaians must vote for him.
According to him, the National Democratic Congress flagbearer has the vision as well as the required leadership qualities to change the economic fortunes of the country when elected into office as President in 2025.
“The knowledge, Vision and strategies JDM has for Ghanaians is unpredictable. Mahama is coming with vim and vigour to stabilize the economy by reducing the Ministers from 125 to 60. The 65 Ministers ex-gratia, allowances would be the benefit for Ghanaians”.

Mr Peter Dongi also accused the Vice President and the New Patriotic Party flagbearer for the 2024 general election, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia of supervising an economy that has landed into crisis.
“He is just campaigning on Digitization, Can we eat digitization? Ghanaians are suffering, and the Economy is not in a good position. The only thing Ghana can do now is to stabilize the economy by re-electing JDM as the president of the Republic of Ghana in the 2024 general election”.

The Banda Constituency National Democratic Congress Communications Officer admonished all Ghanaians who are eligible to vote in the 2024 December 7th to vote massively for the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama to stabilize the country’s economy.
He cautioned Ghanaians not to repeat the similar mistake they made in 2016 and 2020 by voting for the New Patriotic Party into power in 2024 as the party has demonstrated that it cannot manage the affairs of the country.
