NPP Delegates in Tano North Rally Behind Incumbent MP For Parliamentary Candidacy

In a strong show of support, numerous delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tano North Constituency, in the Ahafo Region have expressed confidence in the leadership of Honorable Freda Akosua Prempeh, endorsing her for another term as the party’s parliamentary candidate.

The incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), who also serves as the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, appeared to have garnered widespread backing from party members who believe she deserves another term to continue her transformative agenda in the constituency.

Acknowledging her role as the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, the three-term Member of Parliament was praised for achieving significant milestones in addressing sanitation challenges within the ministry.

The group of Delegates of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Tano North  further commended Honorable Freda Prempeh for her remarkable achievements across various sectors, including job creation, entrepreneurship, sanitation, health, education, and other social interventions within the Tano North Constituency.

Notable projects cited by supporters included the construction of a Fire Service Training School at Abuom, water and sanitation facilities, health infrastructure, and road development.

“After the completion of the Fire Service School, many qualified young people in the constituency will be recruited into the Fire Service as a way of job creation”

Furthermore, the Delegates of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the Tano North assured Honorable Freda Prempeh of their unwavering support to see through the completion of all her ongoing projects across the 25 electoral areas in the constituency.

Specific mentions were made of a completed Fire Service School, set to contribute to job creation in the constituency.

According to the group of the Delegates of the New Patriotic Party in the Tano North Constituency, Honorable Freda Prempeh’s leadership has overseen the completion of numerous projects, including boreholes, durbar grounds, an astroturf sports complex, provision of streetlights, solar streetlights, CHPS compounds, sanitary facilities, and educational infrastructure.

They further noted that there are several ongoing projects that have been initiated by the incumbent Member of Parliament including extending electricity coverage, constructing the NPP constituency office, and establishing additional sanitary facilities for the constituency.

The delegates highlighted the MP’s commitment to education, noting that 900 Senior High School students currently benefit from scholarships sponsored by her office.

“The Tromo electoral area has benefitted from the toilet facility, durbar grounds and others. Hon Freda Prempeh has constructed more than 130 boreholes and other water projects across the constituency, not to talk of the road constructions. Nobody knows the constituency more than her”

Moreover, other local leaders from different electoral areas within the Tano North Constituency shared specific instances of the positive impact of Honorable Freda Prempeh’s initiatives which included the construction of toilet facilities, durbar grounds, boreholes, and road constructions.

The Honorable Freda Prempeh’s comprehensive approach to development was highlighted, with emphasis on water projects, educational infrastructure, and community-focused endeavors by the some local leaders within the Tano North Constituency.

They firmly expressed their support for Honorable Freda Prempeh’s, stressing that her positive impact on the constituency makes her the preferred choice for parliamentary representation.

Meanwhile Honorable Freda Prempeh faces competition from Dr. Gideon Boako, Spokesperson of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the face of the New Patriotic Party upcoming parliamentary primaries on January 27, 2023.
