The sudden passing of Dr. Grace Boadu, a famous herbal medicine practitioner, has sent shockwaves across Ghana.
News filtered in on Monday, January 29, 2024, that Dr. Boadu, founder and CEO of Grace Gift Herbal Hospital had passed away.
The alleged circumstances surrounding the sudden death of the 46-year-old herbal doctor have since generated all kinds of public discussions both from netizens and some ‘self-acclaimed’ family members.
Initially, her death had been attributed to a protracted illness that claimed to have put her down for some months now.
In other news, Grace returned from her 2-week health course in South Africa on Sunday, January 28th before meeting her untimely death.
Meanwhile, information about the circumstances of Dr. Grace Boadu’s death has been sketchy except for a few shared online.
Reports stated that she slipped and fell in her bathroom, died without ever giving birth because she allegedly used her womb for money rituals, and died because her time was up, had never been married, others related her death to the spirituality of her job.
A baby bump video popped up online showing that she was heavily pregnant but it is not known what happened to the pregnancy.
Also, a video popped up online, revealing that Dr. Boadu declared that she unknowingly carried poison in her body for over three years until a surprising discovery at Dubai airport, after she collapsed upon her arrival, adding that she was given 3-days to live.
Dr. Grace Boadu was a renowned herbalist, nurse, and philanthropist. She was also a recipient of an honorary doctorate degree from the City University, Cambodia, for her leadership and contribution to the herbal medicine industry.
Her untimely demise serves as a painful reminder of the fragile nature of life and the profound impact that one person can have on those around them.
However, the brother of the late Dr. Grace Boadu, Emmanuel Boadu, stated that she has a daughter who lives with her mom in Belgium and is yet to arrive in Ghana for a press conference with the family.
In the latest development, Emmanuel has asked the public to pay no heed to such information.

Popular Ghanaian actress and TV presenter, Emelia Brobbey reacted to the painful death of the doctor.
Emelia disclosed that she was completely flabbergasted and in doubt about the sudden demise of the graceful lady who helped to heal many patients.
She sent her heartfelt condolences to the family. “Oh Noo. My heart is heavy. Rest well Dr. Grace Boadu. RIP Dr. Grace,” she wrote.
Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, Known by many as Ras Nene, expressed his utter shock and disbelief over the passing of Dr. Grace Boadu.
According to the actor, Dr. Grace was very kind to him during the genesis of his YouTube career, and he will truly miss her.
“When I started making short videos, I went to shoot in front of a house. While shooting, a lady asked me to leave because if the house’s owner came to see me shooting, she would not be happy. All this while, she was watching us from her balcony and permitted us to continue shooting. As we were shooting she offered her hospital as another location we could use if we were interested. She was very good to us,” he said.
Also, a popular comic actor and YouTuber, Kwaku Manu, shared a five-minute video explaining the nitty-gritty of the news, and he could not conceal this emotional trauma.
He recounted how he was served in a lovely manner when he visited Dr. Boadu’s home some time ago. He also asked viewers if they knew how they’d die one day.
