Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump has posted a warning on his social media site threatening to jail those “involved in unscrupulous behavior” this election, which he said would be under intense scrutiny.
“WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences so that this Depravity of Justice does not happen again,” the former President wrote.
“Please beware that this legal exposure extends to Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters and Corrupt Election Officials.
“Those involved in unscrupulous behavior will be sought out, caught, and prosecuted at levels, unfortunately, never seen before in our Country.”

Trump’s message represents his latest threat to use the office of the presidency to exact retribution if he wins a second term in the oval office.
There is no evidence of the kind of fraud he continues to insist marred the 2020 election that he lost to Joe Biden. In fact, dozens of courts, Republican state officials and his own administration have said he lost fairly.
At an outdoor rally at Central Wisconsin airport on Saturday, September 7, 2024, Trump, after maligning the Congressional committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the nation’s capitol by his supporters after his election loss in 2020, stated that he would “rapidly review the cases of every political prisoner unjustly victimized by the Harris regime” and sign their pardons on his first day back in office.
Trump has repeatedly defended those who have been jailed for crimes including violent attacks on law enforcement.
He asserted that he would “completely overhaul” what he labeled “Kamala’s corrupt Department of Injustice.”
“Instead of persecuting Republicans, they will focus on taking down bloodthirsty cartels, transnational gangs, and radical Islamic terrorists,” he said.
Harris campaign spokesperson, Sarafina Chitika responded to his comments with a statement warning that, if Trump is reelected, he will “use his unchecked power to prosecute his enemies and pardon insurrectionists who violently attacked our Capitol on January 6.”
Trump Labelled an “Unrecoverable Catastrophe”
Also on Sunday, former congresswoman, Liz Cheney called Donald Trump an “unrecoverable catastrophe” and urged fellow Republicans to vote for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in November’s election.
“We see it on a daily basis – somebody who was willing to use violence in order to attempt to seize power, to stay in power, someone who represents unrecoverable catastrophe, frankly, in my view, and we have to do everything possible to ensure that he’s not re-elected,” Cheney said in an interview.
Cheney also reaffirmed her endorsement of Harris and urged other prominent Republicans who have stated they plan on writing in a third option rather than vote for Trump to cast their ballots for the Democrat instead.
“At the end of the day, you just have to wrestle with your own conscience when you’re there in the voting booth. And I would expect that you will see far more Republicans and independents, you know, when the time comes, and they’ve got to make that decision, make the right decision.
“Given the closeness of this election, particularly if you’re going to find yourself voting in a swing state, you’ve got to take the extra step if you really do recognize the threat that Donald Trump poses.

“Then it’s not enough to simply say, ‘I’m not going to vote for him,’” she added.
Asked whether she is still a Republican, Cheney claimed she is still a conservative.
She said that she hopes to “rebuild” the Republican party after the 5 November presidential election.
