Nigerian Comedian, Nasty Blaq has lamented how some Ghanaians rain insults on some local comedians and advised that they put a stop to it since it is not helping the industry grow.

This comes on the back of Nasty Blaq being asked about unity and support among comedians in Nigeria.

Nasty Blaq noted that in Nigeria, the support and unity has been massive. However, he observed that in Ghana, some social media users verbally abuse and cyberbully the comedians in Ghana.

According to him, coming up with content is not easy. Therefore, instead of just insulting the Ghanaian comedians, they should rather advise and encourage them to do better.

“I want to say this to the people of Ghana that support the comedians and stop insulting them. It is not easy to put content out there and I see so many bad comments under their posts. They are doing their best, honestly. If you think it is that easy, then take your camera, put out a content, and let people comment and see how it feels. I feel like you can advise them rather than let out all those negative comments”.

Well, there have been rumors about the Nigerian comedian entering into the Ghanaian movie industry.

Nasty debunked such rumors and disclosed that he will rather be collaborating with Ghanaian entertainers for some projects which will be soon released. The comedian who is currently in Ghana revealed that not only will he be collaborating with comedians but some Ghanaian actors, musicians, and even dancers as well.

“I am in town to collaborate with the actors, musicians, content creators, and everybody. I am trying to work with the likes of ‘Made in Ghana’, comedian Waris, Dance GodLyod and some actresses and artists too. So, just keep watching, soon we will drop everything”.

Meanwhile, it has been thought that comedians suffer a lot of depression even though their main business is to make others laugh.

Speaking on the back of this, Nasty Blaq noted that it is a very true statement as he himself has had to face some depressing moments. However, according to him, he had to keep his head high and still deliver his work regardless of how he was feeling at that moment.

“As a comedian, I feel like it is my responsibility to always make you laugh. So, no matter how I feel, I have to make you happy. Nobody even asks me how I even feel or what is going on with me, no one cares. All they care about is that I make them laugh. The only people I think will check is my close family or a very close friend and that’s it”.

When asked about how he is able to come up with such great content, Nasty Blaq disclosed that he invests so much into his craft. According to him, he would rather prefer not to shoot a concept than to produce anything mediocre. He even detailed how he had to fly all the way to Dubai just to shoot a sky-diving scene to incorporate in his comedy skit.

It can be recalled that Nasty Blaq started doing comedy while in the secondary school where he began to make jokes about basic things around him.

He rose to fame in 2018 after he caught the attention of many celebrities who shared his video across various social media platforms.

Nasty Blaq has worked with the likes of Pankeeroy, Craze Clown, Sydney Talker, and many others. He also featured the Nigerian Afro-pop star, Teni in his comedy skits.

It is worth noting that the talented comedian unveiled his Emmanuel Abisi foundation on his birthday on September 23, 2020. The foundation is meant for the empowerment of the youth.
