Last year, plans were far advanced for Stonebwoy’s ‘Bhim Concert’ but unfortunately, it had to be cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thankfully the show is coming back this year and all is set for it to hold under the theme ‘Bhim of Hope’.

Explaining the choice for the theme of the concert, Stonebwoy in an interview said: “This year’s concert will be an unforgettable one. A lot has gone into it, it has been five years running of doing this show with this year included. Last year we could not do it because of COVID so this year we have to do it. That is one of the reasons we themed it ‘Bhim of Hope’”.

“We do not want people to see this event as just a concert but as a sign of hope that even in our distress, we can still find a reason to make merry, have fun and be happy. So, in general, this year’s concert means a lot to me”.

Stonebwoy further speaking emphasized that inasmuch as the concert is happening with live audience, they are not going to overlook the COVID precautions. According to him, “it will be observed and will be taken seriously”.

Stonebwoy also explained why he settled on Beenie Man as a guest artist saying, “he is someone I have worked with, I love his music, and I respect him so much and like I said, because we were absent last year, the team and I wanted to make this year’s one to remember, a global one and we decided to bring him in”.
