Ghanaian-American actor, Michael Blankson’s mother was present at her son’s school commissioning in Agona Nsaba.
Netizens reacted to the pictures and shared comments about the striking resemblance between the Ghanaian-American actor and his mother who was captured seated in the front row.
She wore long white apparel, paired with a scarf around her neck, and another tied around her head while holding a staff in her hand.

Michael Blackson’s mother, who hails from Liberia is said to have settled in Ghana since she met her husband, Blackson’s father.
According to reports, the Hollywood actor was born on November 28, 1972, in Nsaba, to his Ghanaian father, Kwaku-Nsian Adom Bediako, and his Liberian mother whose name has not been identified yet.

After announcing the completion of a school he built in his hometown, Agona Nsaba in the Central region in November last year, the comedian on January 3, 2023, commissioned the edifice.
“Today is the greatest day of my life because I’ve finally accomplished what I always wanted to do in my life which is giving these children a chance to be great. Greatness starts with education and foundational education shouldn’t come with financial barriers”.

Michael Blackson finally commissions his ‘free for all’ school

Michael Blackson has finally commissioned his newly built school in his hometown, Agona Nsaba, in the Central Region.
Pictures of the facility which seeks to offer free education for all students have been splashed on the internet and this has stirred congratulatory messages from netizens.

The school was named ‘The Michael Blackson Academy’, the three-story complex that has been equipped with lots of classrooms and other amenities.
Earlier in 2020, the 49-year-old actor cut the sod for the construction of the edifice and after a period of two years, he took to social media to announce that it is finally ready.

“After two years it’s finally done and the kids in my village will get free education, free uniforms, and free everything. The only thing they have to pay attention to their teachers. I couldn’t have done this without my fans, every time you bought a ticket to my show, you helped a kid. Thanks to the village of Nsaba Agona where my bloodline started. Thanks to my mom for following God’s plan and raising me with the fear of God”.

“Thanks to Liberia, Nigeria, and America for raising me, and Thank God for my homeland of Ghana. This is just the beginning of what I’ve always wanted to do, help unfortunate kids around the world. January 3, you are all invited to the ribbon cutting of Michael Blackson Academy”.
