It is no longer a rumor that in the Nigerian music scene, there is more to it than meets the eye.

Some of the record labels are just covering up for their criminal activities like internet fraud, and drug trafficking, among others. Trying to exit will get one harassed, and life would be made miserable that nobody will see you in the limelight again.

Earlier on Mohbad’s death, it was reported that he died of an ear infection but controversies surrounding his death make it unbelievable but rather questionable. The cause of his death has been a subject of controversy since the tragic incident.

The death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji popularly known as Mohbad on September 12, 2023, and was buried the following day, a move that irked many of his fans have seen all hands pointed at Naira Marley, the former record label, and Sam Larry, a music promoter in the Marlian music group.

Due to the unclear circumstances, his body was exhumed by the police for an autopsy 9 days after his burial.

As investigations are taking place, the unlicensed nurse who administered the tetanus vaccine to him [Mohbad] was reportedly arrested on September 19, 2023, by the Lagos State Police Command for further investigations.

Naira Marley, the deceased’s former boss, made his stance that he was not around when the 27-year-old died, adding that he might have found himself with occultists as friends.

The Marlian Music Group Manager also revealed that Mohbad had tried committing suicide when he was alive but couldn’t take place because he intervened.

Sam Larry, a music promoter, on the other hand, is arrested in connection with the death of the singer. He claimed he had a dispute over 2 million Naira and that led to the brawl he had with him [Mohbad].

Some hands too are pointing at Mohbad being a drug addict which may be the cause of his death.

Family members, wife, and friends are undergoing investigations as well to know what exactly killed Mohbad.

The results of the autopsy will be declared on October 13, 2023, prominent Nigerian Lawyer [Femi Falani] assures, but as it stands now, what actually killed Mohbad?

#Justice4Mohbad became a social movement and protest series from mass tweets following his death in Nigeria.

The protest became one of Nigeria’s largest social movements and protests considerably drawing media attention internationally and set on becoming a groundbreaker for injustice in the corrupt Nigerian system.

His mom believes her son was murdered, and not killed by any ear infection, adding that his exit from Naira Marly’s label led to his many troubles and death.

“My son didn’t die a natural death; he was killed. Whoever killed my son, that person will become troubled. My child will be crying all the time. They will be beating him whenever he goes for a show,” she lamented.

“Don’t blame Naira Marley for my son’s death, as I tried my best to reach Naira Marley but everything was in vain. When this issue happened, I wanted to trek to his house, but I was scared because I didn’t know what I would meet there,” Mohbad’s father said.

Mohbad’s best friend, Bella Shmurda, vows to see justice for his death legally or illegally.

“Badman will never rest. King of South and the West… I won’t pay my last respects because you are still alive 4L. Until those who oppressed him face justice and are sentenced, nothing like last respect. Igboro be aware #justice4Mohbad,” he tweeted.
