StanChart Bank Ghana PLC, one of the leading financial institutions in Ghana, has announced the appointment of new members to its board of directors.

As such, Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC announced the appointment of Naa Adorkor Codjoe as Independent Non-Executive Director and Subhradeep Mohanty as Non-Executive Director to the Board, effective from October 26, 2023.

Naa Adorkor Codjoe, a seasoned enterprise risk management specialist and Chartered Accountant, brings over 24 years of professional experience, having worked in both the Ghana and London offices of PricewaterhouseCoopers for over 10 years. She holds a Master of Science degree in Enterprise Risk Management from Columbia University, New York.

Subhradeep Mohanty, the Regional Chief Financial Officer for Standard Chartered Bank for Africa and the Middle East, boasts over 21 years of diverse international experience. Recognised as “One of Asia’s top CFOs” in 2017, he has previously worked with JP Morgan and American Express. Subhradeep holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from IIM-Ahmedabad, India.

Appointments Aim to Strengthen the Bank’s Board

These appointments aim to strengthen the Bank’s board with a diverse blend of expertise in finance, strategic leadership, corporate governance, and risk management.
