Ghanaian musician and actress Diamond Michelle, popularly known as Shatta Michy, has taken a bold step to criticize fellow actress Andrea Owusu, also known as Efia Odo, for allegedly performing wife duties for the controversial dancehall artist, Shatta Wale.
Shatta Michy, who is the ex-girlfriend of Shatta Wale, did not mince her words as she described Shatta Wale as an untrustworthy individual who should not be taken seriously.
The outspoken Michy expressed her concerns about Efia Odo, warning her not to be comfortable with men like Shatta Wale due to his alleged traits of cheating and womanizing.
In a social media post that has since gone viral, Shatta Michy accused Shatta Wale of being undeserving of the favors that Efia Odo has reportedly been showering on him.
The post hinted at a strained relationship between the former lovers, with Michy seemingly eager to warn others about Shatta Wale’s character.
“From the way he talks, you wouldn’t wanna know how he talks. When he talks about you, men ( Shatta Wale) have a different story in every situation,” Shatta Micy shared.
Shatta Michy boldly asserted that when she first encountered Shatta Wale, he was far from the accomplished musician that fans know today.
According to her, she played a significant role in refining and shaping him into the charismatic and talented artist he has become.
“He wasn’t good enough, or you were good enough to be a replacement. Where I met this nigga (Shatta Wale), you wouldn’t have liked him, we polished him up for you to like him,” Shatta Michy declared.
Despite acknowledging her influence on Shatta Wale’s journey to stardom, Shatta Michy made it clear that she is no longer interested in being in a relationship with him.
This revelation comes amidst rumors and speculations surrounding Shatta Wale’s involvement with Efia Odo.
In a pointed remark directed at Efia Odo, Shatta Michy described her as a ‘beggar’ benefiting from the fruits of her labor.
“You know he holds me in a different high esteem, you (Efia Odo) came jumping from somewhere to somewhere,” Shatta Michy stated, highlighting her perceived inconsistency in contributions to Shatta Wale’s life.
Kwaw Kese Calls Out Shatta Wale
Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese shared his thoughts about his colleague Shatta Wale’s career path.
The two musicians have not seen eye to eye since their hit collaboration, Allo, was released in 2017.
Kwaw Kese took to social media to shade the artist in a post and a video that has got many netizens talking.
Kwaw Kese went on an offensive spree on the singer. Shatta Wale had criticized Stonebwoy’s indifference towards music and business collaborations.
In an online post, Kwaw Kese referred to Shatta Wale’s recent outfit.
“Why do some GH artists dress in GH as they live in Alaska? Hoodie and Jackets in this weather?” he wrote.
The multiple award-winning rapper also noted in a video that Ghana’s current crop of artists, including Kuami Eugene and Kwesi Arthur, had become the talk of the town, suggesting that controversial Shatta Wale had fallen off.
“Now we talk about Kwesi Arthur, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, and others; not you guys because you are no longer relevant in the industry. Those senseless songs with explicit lyrics, do you think would have taken you far? They are archaic,” he said.
“Stonebwoy is doing big things internationally and locally. If you claim you are a Dancehall artiste and you are underperforming, then, you are nobody,” he further added.
