The Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to unveil its ultramodern National Youth Wing Secretariat and Campaign Office in preparation towards the December 7 polls.
The program which is scheduled for today, Friday, March 29, 2024, is poised to mark a significant milestone in the party’s endeavours to empower and engage young people in Ghana’s political landscape.
In a compelling video post on social media, the National Democratic Congress National Youth Organizer, George Opare Addo Esq, expressed the organization’s elation at the momentous development.
He underscored the pivotal role the Youth Secretariat will play, serving as the nerve centre for youth-focused initiatives and electoral campaigns ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Mahama Graces Youth Wing Secretariat Inauguration
Highlighting the significance of the occasion, Lawyer Opare Addo noted that the party’s flagbearer and leader, former President John Dramani Mahama, will grace the event as the Special Guest of Honor.
This, he noted reflects the party’s commitment to youth empowerment and engagement at the highest level.
Among the esteemed dignitaries expected to attend are the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Honorable Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the General Secretary; and Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, the 2024 Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress.
The presence of such prominent figures according to the party’s National Youth Organizer, George Opare Addo underscores the importance attached to the initiative within the party’s hierarchy.
Furthermore, in what appears to be a gesture of solidarity and collaboration, national youth leaders from Nigeria’s All People’s Congress (APC) and DR Congo’s Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UDPS) will also grace the occasion.
