Prominent media personality, Nana Yaa Brefo has commented on the current marital conflict involving celebrities Fella Makafui and Medikal.
She expressed her confusion at why the couple would let minor disputes lead to their split and publicize their relationship’s negative aspects.
“The majority of Ghanaian mothers struggle to demonstrate love to their children. This is particularly true among the Akan, though the Fantes are somewhat better. This pertains to the period of child-rearing. I observe this in both Medikal and Fella, from the way they fell in love to how it concluded.
“I’m puzzled by the unfolding events. Fella entered what seemed a promising marriage, so the current situation is worrying. Had their love been authentic, it wouldn’t have destroyed so readily. Perhaps a temporary split might reveal whether they still harbor feelings for one another.”

Afia Schwarzenegger also urged netizens to refrain from promptly judging Fella Makafui and subjecting her to harsh condemnation without hearing her side of the story.
Expressing her disapproval of online commentators and media platforms defaming Fella in the aftermath of Medikals outburst, the comedienne cautioned against hastily casting judgment.

“An issue has happened, and you are judging based on just one side of the story. You only heard one side of the story and you’re judging. Nowadays, you’d hear panelists discussing, insulting, and dragging Fella without hearing her side of the story.”
