NDC 32nd Anniversary, Mahama Touts Party’s Commitment to Development

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer for the 2024 general election, former President John Dramani Mahama has expressed the opposition party’s commitment to the values and ideals of Unity, Stability, and Development.

The leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress, in a statement to commemorate the 32nd Anniversary of the party since its formation, strongly asserted that the commemoration of the event is being celebrated with reflections on the party’s journey and its ongoing mission to shape the country’s future.

Mr Mahama also reaffirmed the party’s dedication to its founding principles, adding that the party’s motto, “Unity, Stability, and Development,” is a cornerstone for its activities and policies.

“Today, we proudly celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the National Democratic Congress, a party born with a vision of Unity, Stability, and Development. As we look back on our journey, we are reminded of the profound impact these values have had on shaping the future of our beloved nation”.

This guiding principle, the National Democratic Congress flagbearer for the 2024 general elections noted has been instrumental in the party’s struggle to foster progress and national cohesion since its formation.

Furthermore, the National Democratic Congress leader highlighted the importance of unity, noting that it is essential for achieving the stability and development the party envisions for Ghana.

He posited that the party’s motto is not just a slogan but a guiding principle for its daily work, adding that it underscores the urgent need for all Ghanaians to come together as one people to achieve the stability and development that all Ghanaians aspire to.

“Building the Ghana we want together”

Recounting the party’s commitment to win the upcoming December general elections, the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress urged all Ghanaians to rally around the party’s campaign message: “Building the Ghana we want together”.

He emphasized that the “Building the Ghana we want together” message is a call to action that resonates deeply with the National Democratic Congress’s foundational values.

Mr Mahama further stated that the message underscores the party’s belief in the power of collective effort to drive the country forward, ensure stable governance, and promote inclusive development.

“Our powerful campaign message is not just a slogan but a call to action that echoes our party’s motto. It underscores the crucial role of unity in propelling our country forward, the necessity of stability in our political and economic landscape, and our unwavering commitment to development for all our citizens”.

Moreover, former President John Dramani Mahama praised the dedication of the party’s supporters, describing them as the backbone of the party.

He assured them of the party’s steadfast commitment to the principles of Unity, Stability, and Development, promising that their support fuels the determination to work tirelessly towards these goals.

He emphasized that the party is very committed to working with all stakeholders to build a Ghana that is united in purpose, stable in governance, and developed in opportunity for all citizens.

In addition, Mr Mahama stated that the 32nd-anniversary celebration of the National Democratic Congress serves as a moment to renew the party’s commitment to its core values and to galvanize support ahead of the crucial electoral contest of December 7.

Mr Mahama concluded his message with a call to action for all party members and supporters to rekindle their commitment to the National Democratic Congress’s values of Unity, Stability, and Development to build a brighter future for Ghana.

“Thank you, and may God bless our great party, the National Democratic Congress, and our dear nation, Ghana”.
