Liam Payne producer, Sam Pounds has postponed the posthumous Liam Payne single ‘Do No Wrong’ until he gets the family’s blessing.
It was announced that a new unreleased track called ‘Do No More’ by Liam and Grammy winner, Sam Pounds would be arriving on streaming platforms on Friday, November 1, 2024.
Recorded weeks before Liam Payne tragically passed away, the song, which has cover art of an angel with a broken heart above its head, was set to have three versions released, including a live mix and a cappella single.
Some fans felt that the song’s release was happening too soon after Liam’s death, with one fan account of the singer saying on Twitter that the ‘release of this song without the consent and support of his family is highly insensitive’.
Confirming the song’s postponement, Sam said: “Today I’m deciding to hold ‘Do No Wrong and leave those liberties up to all family members. I want all proceeds to go to a charity of their choosing (or however they desire).”
“Even though we all love the song it’s not the time yet. We are all still mourning the passing of Liam and I want the family to mourn in peace and prayer. We will all wait. With love Sam Pounds.”

Earlier, Sam had shared a snippet of their song on his Instagram grid, alongside a clip of himself and Liam listening to the tune together from inside a recording studio.
Sharing the post with his followers, Sam wrote: “Yeah I see the reports but I knew your heart. Filmed by @roo0990. @liampayne originally wanted us & @chrisbrownofficial on this. A musical moment & tribute to @liampayne.”
The producer further extended his prayers that the song would be a blessing to all who listen.
“I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed. I pray angels will comfort you all every day while listening. I pray that this song will be a blessing to [Liam’s sister] Ruth, [son] Bear, and the entire family.
“I pray that this song eclipses the negative echoes. I pray supernatural positive healing power will embrace each and every one of you… With love let’s all be the blessing.”

Girls Aloud star, Cheryl Tweedy spoke candidly about her opinion of drug use after a tragedy close to her heart.
It’s been more than two weeks since One Direction star, Liam Payne devastatingly died after plunging from the third floor of a boutique hotel in Argentina, and his family are still trying to fly his body home.
Liam is survived by his loved ones and seven-year-old son Bear, whom he welcomed with ex Cheryl back in 2017.
Liam’s ex Cheryl has always been strongly against drug use after losing her childhood friend to a heroin overdose in 2005. Budding footballer John Courtney was just 21 years old when he died. Close friend Cheryl later said: “It put me off drugs for life. That nightmare devastated all John’s family and friends.”
After Liam’s sad death, Cheryl took to Instagram to post an unseen picture of him with their son and made an emotional statement regarding the tragedy.
She begged for some kindness and respect to be shown for Liam as she highlighted the harsh reality that both she and Bear face.
“As I try to navigate this earth-shattering event and work through my own grief at this indescribably painful time, I’d like to kindly remind everyone that we have lost a human being. Liam was not only a pop star and celebrity; he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend, and a father to our seven-year-old son.
“A son that now has to face the reality of never seeing his father again. What is troubling my spirit the most is that one day Bear will have access to the abhorrent reports and media exploitation we have seen in the past two days. It is breaking my heart further that I cannot protect him from that in his future.”
