Angela Okorie Laments Over Stolen Phone on Movie Set

Angela Okorie

Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has publicly expressed her frustration after her Samsung phone was stolen during the filming of a movie.

In an Instagram post, the actress shared her disappointment, recounting the incident and expressing disbelief that such thefts still occur in 2024.

Angela Okorie revealed that her phone, which featured a photo of her and her son as the screensaver, went missing while she was working on the set of “Unholy Fantasy”. Despite days of searching, the phone remains unaccounted for.

“While we were filming, someone stole my Samsung phone. It’s been over a week, and we are still looking for it. Didn’t the person see the picture of me and my son on the screensaver and feel a twinge of conscience? Stealing someone else’s phone is pure wickedness.”

Angela Okorie

The actress did not hold back her emotions, stating she had placed a curse on the perpetrator, describing their actions as heartless.

She also questioned why anyone would resort to stealing a phone when she could have offered help if approached.

“Doesn’t the thief know I could have given them more than a million naira if they had just asked? Stealing doesn’t change your life; it only makes you a thief and a destroyer. You’ve done me bad, but you’ve done yourself worse.”

Angela Okorie

Angela, known for her candidness, reflected on the loss of her contacts and important content but remained optimistic, saying she found solace in her faith.

“I was praying last night, and God assured me that everything I’ve lost will be doubled. I believe it, but I still pray the person returns the phone or seeks forgiveness.”

Angela Okorie

Her post has sparked a conversation online, with many sympathizing with her and condemning the act.

Some also echoed Angela’s concern about the continued prevalence of phone theft in a digital era.

The actress added a lighter note of gratitude for her safety, stating, “Thank God I am home. Make dem no thief me join, biko.”

Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie preached the importance of forgiveness as she links up with her friend and colleague, Zubby Michael.

On Instagram, Angela Okorie shared photos and videos of herself and Zubby going in a drive.

Regarding their reunion, Angela said God’s blessings are attached to forgiveness, and bitterness is a force.

She preached about letting go because the person you hold onto might be the access key to a breakthrough.

“No one can experience God’s blessing if he cannot give out forgiveness. Bitterness is a controlling power. It has a controlling influence. It makes you struggle with the battle of life. It can hinder blessings and open doors to sickness.

“Unforgiveness makes you rejoice in iniquity. The person you are holding in Unforgiveness might be your access key to tomorrow’s breakthrough.”

Okorie emphasized that forgiveness has the power to turn things around.

“Never retain offenses. When you retain offenses, you are detained at the same time. Retain and be detained. Forgiveness can turn everything around. Can move God to change His judgment to clemency.”

Angela Okorie

It can be recalled that Angela Okorie slammed Zubby Michael for not publicly mourning their late colleague, Junior Pope.

Angela made it known that Zubby could never put up such a post because of his story with Junior Pope.

She noted how Zubby fights everyone in the industry, including the late Junior Pope because he wants to be the number one of Nollywood.

A few days ago, the two reunited over a smoke. The duo noted that it was love from their side.
